Below are the full results for the episode of WWE NXT that aired on December 2, 2015. It is followed by an updated card for NXT TakeOver: London , since several announcements were made about the next NXT special.

  • Baron Corbin vs. Tye Dillinger — Tonight’s episode of WWE NXT opened with Baron Corbin making his way to the ring. No promo packages, no mic segment. They mentioned his match against Apollo Crews at NXT TakeOver: London , and then they simply announced his opponent, Tye Dillinger. The show began at 8:00; they had already moved on to a backstage interview by 8:08 — and that includes post-match replays. Baron Corbin beat the “Perfect 10” Tye Dillinger with the End of Days.
  • Apollo Crews promo — In a backstage interview, we learn that next week’s NXT main event will be a tag team match pitting Apollo Crews and NXT Champion Finn Balor against Baron Corbin and Samoa Joe.
  • Tommaso Ciampa promo — In another backstage interview, Ciampa responds to a question about Samoa Joe’s recent change in attitude by suggesting they had known each other a long time and something had changed in Joe’s eyes. He goes on to say that no one believes he can beat Joe, but he has nothing to lose and that’s what it takes to win.
  • Nia Jax vs. Blue Pants — The backstage issues regarding Leva “Blue Pants” Bates are well documented. It’s no surprise that one of the most hyped superstars in NXT beat the beloved Blue Pants in a match that barely lasted two minutes.
  • Dash & Dawson promo — Tom Phillips interviewed the NXT Tag Team Champions a few days earlier than the rest of this show was recorded. It was announced that Enzo Amore and Colin “Big Cass” Cassady would challenge for the tag titles at NXT TakeOver: London . The current champs made it clear that they were not impressed with the “Catchphrase Kings” and didn’t think they had earned a title shot.
  • Adam Rose vs. James Storm — Rose received one of the best receptions he’s had in a long time. James Storm — most well-known for his time in TNA Wrestling — was also well-received by the crowd at Full Sail University. This was by no means a squash match, but there was never really a question of who was going to win. As Ringside News reports, James Storm has not signed with WWE yet.
  • The Vaudevillains and Jason Jordan & Chad Gable promo — Jordan and Gable interrupted the former NXT tag champs and the teams shook hands.
  • Jason Jordan & Chad Gable vs. The Vaudevillains — The Villains are trying to redeem themselves after losing their rematch for the NXT tag team championship. Jordan and Gable are trying to earn their first shot at the straps. The match was competitive and fast-paced, but Jordan and Gable hit their finisher and got the clean win. They offered their hands post-match, but the Vaudevillains refused.
  • Emma and Dana Brooke promo — Emma warns Osuka about the “next time” she gets her hands on her. Emma’s match is next.
  • But before that match, a video plays of what appears to be a homeless man playing guitar. Apparently, this is a star soon to debut in NXT.
  • Emma vs. Liv Morgan — Even though she’s a relative unknown in NXT, Liv is given a full introduction and theme song after Emma had already been introduced. The match doesn’t last long before Morgan taps. Post-match, a video of Asuka plays on the NXT’s version of the TitanTron, setting up Emma vs. Asuka at NXT TakeOver: London .
  • Bayley promo — Bayley is in the middle of responding to a question about Nia Jax before the Rock’s cousin interrupts her. It is never specifically stated that Bayley would defend the NXT Women’s Championship against Jax, but the champion was layed out by Nia before the segment was over.
  • Samoa Joe vs. Tommaso Ciampa — In a solid match to close the show, Samoa Joe gets the clean victory. Joe headlines next week’s NXT and the next special, NXT TakeOver: London .

With all of the announcements from tonight’s episode taken into consideration, the current lineup for NXT TakeOver: London includes the following matches, as confirmed by WWE’s official NXT site.

  • NXT Championship Match — Finn Balor (c) vs. Samoa Joe
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match — Dash & Dawson (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass
  • Baron Corbin vs. Apollo Crews
  • Emma vs. Asuka

One can also assume that Bayley will have a match against Nia Jax and/or Eva Marie. Will the guitar-playing grappler make his debut? Will either of the tag teams from tonight’s show get on the card? Scanning the official NXT roster, other possible NXT stars that could be on the show from London, England include Bull Dempsey, Hype Bros, Angelo Dawkins, and Tye Dillinger.
