After months of build-up, WrestleMania 35 finally arrived on Sunday evening with numerous hours of action for the WWE fans. At 5 p.m. Eastern, the Kickoff Show began with a number of matches scheduled, but the main card would have even more for all those in attendance and the millions watching around the world. It’s time to catch up on all of the results in this full recap which will be updated live throughout the evening.
The official website of WWE detailed all of the matches on the absolutely huge card, and all of the titles were up for grabs. Fans in New Jersey were prepped and ready early for the big event which all started with the WWE Cruiserweight Title Match.
The latest results will be at the bottom of the article as the night carries on.
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match – Tony Nese vs. Buddy Murphy
This was a really hot opener which involved a lot of hard work from both of the cruiserweights. Opening WrestleMania 35 wasn’t going to be easy for anyone and the crowd didn’t necessarily treat them well, but it was a great match and led the way with the first title change of the night.
Winner and New Champion: Tony Nese
2nd Annual WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal
There was a lot of action in this one and it went rather quickly, but the fans were truly into it. Near the end, it came down to Sarah Logan, Sonya Deville, and Asuka. Asuka ended up dumping Deville out of the match, but she was quickly eliminated by Logan after that. Thinking she had won the match, Carmella popped up from outside the ring and eliminated Logan to win.
Winner: Carmella

Raw Tag Team Championship – The Revival (c) vs. Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder
The fans were truly into this one and loved getting behind Ryder and Hawkins as the latter hadn’t won a match in a very long time. The Revival delivered some really good shots and double team maneuvers, but Hawkins used a roll-up for the big “ WrestleMania moment” win to capture the titles.
Winners and New Champions: Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder

Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
There were a lot of superstars in this battle royal, and it was actually a lot of fun. It all came down to Braun Strowman and the Hardy Boyz, but there were two others still in it. The guys from Saturday Night Live arrived after hiding under the ring for the majority of the match, but they were no match for the “Monster Among Men.”
Winner – To Be Determined

WWE Universal Championship – Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Seth Rollins
Paul Heyman said he didn’t want his client hanging around if they weren’t going to close the show, so, he called out Lesnar. Before the bell could even ring, Lesnar destroyed Rollins around the ring and decimated him.
Once they were finally in the ring, Rollins was able to hit a low-blow and three Curb Stomps to Lesnar for the pinfall and the title.
Winner and New Champion: Seth Rollins

AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Orton and Styles had a pretty decent back-and-forth match which included some big moves from the former. Not only did Orton hit a huge superplex off of the top rope but he also hit an RKO which Styles somehow kicked out of to avoid the pin.
Upon rebounding from the RKO, Styles hit a huge Flying Forearm for the win.
Winner: AJ Styles
SmackDown Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos had the deck stacked against them by having to face The Bar, Ricochet and Aleister Black, and the team of Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura. This was a really fun spotfest which ended with the Usos hitting a double top rope splash for the pin to retain.
Winners and Still Champions: The Usos
Line ’em all up, and knock ’em down like THIS.

Falls Count Anywhere – Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
Shane-O Mac dominated the early part of this match, but The Miz came back and just took over. Eventually, Miz took Shane to the top of a scaffolding structure and suplexed him off of the top of it and onto some crates below which brought forth a “Holy Sh*T!” chant from the crowd.
Ironically enough, Shane landed on top of Miz for the pinfall.
Winner: Shane McMahon

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match
Honestly, this was one of the more fun matches of the evening as all eight superstars gave their everything in it. At one point, Beth Phoenix nailed the Glam Slam on Bayley, but the IIconics worked with the chaos of this match to pick up the pinfall and win the titles.
Winners and New Champions: The IIconics

WWE Championship – Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Kofi Kingston
While this match may have started off rather slow, it built up phenomenally and had a great story told throughout. There were plenty of near-falls and so many tense moments, but at long last, Kofi Kingston won the WWE Championship.
After it was all over, his brothers of The New Day presented him with a brand new title.

WWE United States Championship: Samoa Joe (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
Last week on Monday Night Raw , Rey Mysterio suffered an ankle injury, but he was cleared to wrestle tonight. Obviously, the injury wasn’t totally great, though, as Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch and ended the match in about one minute.
Winner and Still Champion: Samoa Joe
Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre
A hard-fought match as the two big superstars battled it out with brutal hits and giant moves. McIntyre was in control for the majority of the match, but Reigns landed a Superman Punch and huge Spear for the pinfall.

No Holds Barred Match – Triple H vs. Batista
Both men took everything they had to their opponent and there were a number of near-falls in this one. Trips had to fight for his career as it would have ended if Batista picked up the victory. It simply wasn’t meant to be, though, as a sledgehammer shot and a Pedigree led to the pinfall.
Winner: Triple H

Kurt Angle’s “Farewell Match” – Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
Fans were rather quiet for this one and it didn’t last overly long or the way that many were expecting. Kurt Angle cinched in the Ankle Lock and even missed a nice moonsault, but Corbin picked up the win to officially end the Olympic hero’s career.
Winner: Baron Corbin

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Lashley (c) vs. The Demon
Finn Balor was not there this evening as “The Demon” took his place for this title match against Bobby Lashley, and it was short but fun. Lashley showcased some huge power moves and even speared Balor through the ropes and to the floor outside, but it wasn’t enough.
Winner and New Champion: The Demon

Winner Take All – Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championship
For the first time in WrestleMania history, women were in the main event of the pay-per-view and they certainly delivered. This was a brutal and hard-hitting match which ended with Charlotte Flair being tossed through a table and Becky Lynch pinning Ronda Rousey to capture both titles.
