Tamar Braxton appears to be refusing to speak to her former The Real co-host Loni Love ever since it was announced that she had been fired from the daytime talk show.
Love recently confirmed that she had not spoken to her former co-star in the four weeks since it was announced that Braxton would not be returning for a third season, but admitted that she had seen Tamar’s pretty shady social media posts.
Despite the two appearing pretty close both on and off-screen during their two seasons sitting alongside each other on The Real , Loni revealed on The Tom Joyner Morning Show that she actually hasn’t heard from Braxton in over a month.
“I haven’t heard from Tamar,” Love admitted on the radio show of the current state of her relationship with Braxton since she was let go from the series, admitting “but I’ve seen her messages.”
Though Loni didn’t explicitly reveal with of Braxton’s message she was referring to, it’s thought the comedian was referring to Braxton’s Instagram postin which she claimed to have been “stabbed in the back” after being fired from the series.
But despite the apparent animosity, Loni did admit that she and her fellow co-hosts, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Bailon will “miss” Tamar.
“She was an asset to us,” Love said of Braxton’s input on The Real . “All the co-hosts, we’re going to miss her, and we really do wish her well, but we have to move on with the show and we have to think about our fans.”
Love’s cordial response to the drama reports come after weeks of speculation suggesting that Tamar and Loni had seriously fallen out since the surprising news was announced, which first began after a Twitter user who claimed to be a friend of Braxton’s alluded to a feud on social media.
TheyBF captured a slew of screenshots of messages tweeted out from the account, in which the Twitter user, who goes by the name “Him Kardashian-West,” appeared to confirm the feud between the former co-stars.
“How you post pictures on Instagram but not even called? Oh. I forgot. That’s right. You did call, the network. Don’t front for the ‘gram, babe,” the Twitter user wrote, suggesting that Love did not call Tamar after it was announced that she would be leaving the show but did post a message to Tamar on Instagram.
Tamar Braxton’s friend then confirmed he was talking about Love, writing in a separate tweet, “Ain’t no LOVE over here.”
The apparent feud confirmation came shortly before Braxton slammed her former co-starson Instagram, referring to The Realco-hosts as being “phony b******.”
Tamar Braxton liked a fan’s photo uploaded to the photo sharing site that showed Tamar leaning away from the group alongside the caption, “when you in a room full of phony b******, it’s best to distance yourself,” to which Braxton commented on the snap, “Pretty much.”
Loni also appeared to hint that there could be bad blood between herself and Braxton on the social media site, telling Tamar to “take the time [she] needs” after it was announced that she would not be returning for a third season.
“You know I love you and your family,” Love told Tamar on Instagram. “Know that no matter what I only want and wish you the best. I am here, nothing has changed. Take the time you need but know as I have always been, I am here.”
But while Loni revealed on the radio show that she hasn’t spoken to Braxton in a month, Love did take to the social media site last week to wish a happy birthday to Tamar’s son.
“Happy Birthday Logan!!!! May God keep blessing you … hear the party was great,” Loni wrote on the social media site alongside two photos of herself and Braxton’s son, referring to Logan’s birthday party that both Tamera Mowry-Housley and Adrienne Bailon attended, though it’s thought that Love and Mai were not invited .
“Auntie Loni is sending Love from New York,” Love added, tagging Tamar and adding the hashtag “#alwaysfam.”
