Was Bernie on a hippie trip?
Actress Sharon Stone is wondering how many LSD trips presidential candidate Bernie Sanders might have taken as a younger man.
Stone, a Hillary Clinton supporter this time around who preferred Obama over Clinton in their 2008 matchup, also claims that the Vermont Senator is unprepared to be president of the United States and mentioned in connection with alleged acid trips that Sanders, 74, entered middle age before he began earning a regular paycheck.
As published yesterday, the Basic Instinct star opened up about the presidential race in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, in which she wondered whether Bernie’s demeanor suggests that he was having a 60s flashback.
“Bernie seems pretty old just in general, and some of his ideas are a little bit old. He’s not young doing this, and he didn’t really work until he was 40 so I wonder, like, how much acid has this guy taken? I really do, that’s not a joke. We were so aggressive asking people, ‘Did you smoke pot?’ But in reality, how much acid has Bernie Sanders taken? Because there’s a certain edge to his personality and way about his behavior that makes me wonder, ‘How much LSD have you taken?’ “
Stone added that she likes alleged psychedelic drug taker Bernie Sanders personally and described him as “adorable.” His tax plans, not so much. “I think his ideas about taxation are a little bit disproportionate to reality.”

Sanders, a self-described socialist running for president as a Democrat, has been a member of Congress since 1991 and voted for most of the Obama agenda in the past seven years. Prior to his election to the U.S. House, he served eight years as the mayor of Burlington, Vermont.
Stone, who portrayed a make-believe U.S. vice president on Agent X , a 2015 TNT series that was canceled after one season, suggested that Bernie Sanders may have less of a learning curve for the Oval Office if he served as VP first.
The Casino star appears to be putting all her rhetorical chips on a Clinton victory in November. In the interview, Sharon Stone claimed that she and Hillary Clinton have a “frank” and “open” relationship and insisted that Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State has prepared her for the presidency.
Stone also mocked GOP front-runner Donald Trump for the “muskrat on this head” and suggested that he might unleash a Holocaust if he gains power. Most Hollywood celebrities publicly back the Democrats no matter who the Republican candidate happens to be, however. Some might find the Holocaust reference odd in that the brash New York real estate mogul’s high-profile daughter Ivanka is Jewish.

Sharon Stone, 58, this week abandoned plans to shoot a short film about cyberbullying in Mississippi as a result of the state’s new and controversial religious freedom law.
In a statement , Stone explained that “I will not work in any state that holds or is actively creating laws to legally support discrimination against American citizens whether due to their race, religion, gender or sexual orientation, nor where those laws are passed or approved by the government of said state.”
Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton fiercely debated last night in Brooklyn in the run-up to the hotly contested New York Primary on Tuesday, an encounter televised on CNN.
The New York Post , a publication which has endorsed Donald Trump, described the forum as equivalent to old people yelling, with a callback to the hit TV comedy Seinfeld .
“Also, with the screaming they were doing, these two Social Security recipients came to look like they were battling over the last open seat on the board of the Del Boca Vista Condo Association. If they had been playing canasta, they would have accused each other of cheating and spilled their glasses of tea all over the card table in the game room.”
Do you think that Sharon Stone has a legitimate reason for questioning whether Bernie Sanders ever did acid?
