A report from InTouch Weekly indicated that Julia Roberts and Moder are on the verge of divorcing one another after “one of their worst fights ever.” It comes as a total surprise, as the 48-year-old actress and her husband were spotted kissing and hugging passionately during their vacation in Hawaii last month.
But in the same report, it says that their marriage suffered a severe blow during this trip to Hawaii. The divorce will also reportedly unleash a fight over Julia Roberts’ $250 million fortune, according to sources.
“They’ve tried time and again to stop the looming breakup, but whether they can admit it or not, it’s over.”
However, Julia Roberts and Moder are still in love with each other and there is a possibility that the two could get back together, the sources said, adding that the Money Monster actress is “praying” they could work it all out and avoid such a “pricey” divorce process.
“But right now, a divorce is imminent.”
But other websites later debunked the report, saying Julia Roberts and her husband are happily married and don’t have reasons for divorce. The reports come several months after rumors emerged that the Pretty Woman actress’ friendship with George Clooney was making his wife Amal Clooney “insecure.”
In other news, Julia Roberts has explained what it was like to love and be loved by Garry Marshall, according to E! Online . The actress is mourning the loss of the legendary director and one of the film industry’s most admired figures.
Marshall, who passed away last month, directed Pretty Woman , in which Julia Roberts plays the role of a prostitute alongside Richard Gere. The director, producer and writer gave an invaluable contribution to Roberts’ film career, and with his 1990 film he truly launched her acting career.
In her recent interview with People magazine, Julia Roberts admitted that knowing Garry Marshall meant loving him.
“And I was luckier than most to have loved him for my entire adult life and luckier still to have been loved by him because his love was unconditional, inexhaustible and magical.”

In the Stephen Chbosky-directed film, which hits theaters on April 7, 2017, Julia Roberts plays the role of the mother of a young boy with a facial deformity, Isabel Pullman. Wilson, meanwhile, plays her onscreen husband, Nate Pullman, while the very talented Jacob Tremblay portrays their son Auggie.
For the emotional scene, Julia Roberts was dressed in a calf-length jean frock and a maroon knitted sweater, while her co-star opted for a gray suit. However, the Oscar-winning actress cheered up during a break, and a wide smile was seen across her face.
