Chris Meloni Calls Mariska Hargitay by Her Pet Name in a Hilarious Birthday Video: "Marsha, You There?"

Mariska Hargitay celebrated her birthday on 23 January, and her co-star, Christopher Meloni from "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" sent his best wishes and had a load of fun doing so. Meloni conveyed to Mariska Hargitay, 59, in a hilariously bizarre video on Instagram where he drew so close to the camera that his eyes and forehead were visible. "Marsha," he hissed, calling the actress by the pet name he uses, as per PEOPLE. "Do you know what today is?" He then leans in even closer and whispers, "I do." The post got cut off before he could wish the "Lake Placid" actress a very Happy Birthday. "Celebrate it, Marsha," he captioned the post. Hargitay mentioned during a joint appearance with Meloni on Late Night With Seth Meyers that "Marsha" and "Marshmelon" are other nicknames that the duo go by. "Bensler," is another combination of the last names of their SVU characters', Benson and Stabler.
