Angelina Jolie Is A ‘Rampaging Spoiled Brat Living in Crazyland’

Angelina Jolie was among those targeted, as some new fairly nasty Sony emails have been leaked to the public. This past Tuesday, WikiLeaks, run by Julian Assange, posted 173,000 emails in addition to 30,000 Sony documents with many of the emails focusing on Angelina Jolie.

As the full effect of these leaks begins to be felt, Ms. Jolie’s name seems to once again take center stage, reminiscent of a past leaked email wherein film producer Scott Rudin called Angelina a “minimally talented, spoiled brat.” This didn’t end his tirade against Ms. Jolie. He also said that Angelina was suffering from “insanity and rampaging spoiled ego.”

Rudin was clearly having unspecified difficulties with Ms. Jolie, because, as the subject of working together on any further film projects was broached, he added “this will just spin even further out in Crazyland, but let me tell you I have zero appetite for the indulgence of spoiled brats and I will tell her this myself if you don’t.”

Rudin’s feelings toward Angelina Jolie seem to be shared by several Sony executives as well. Regarding a meeting Ms. Jolie had been due to attend, which had to be rescheduled, executives showed concern over what drama might be caused by notifying Angelina.

“She knows it’s off. Calm down. She’s an actress for hire, not Cleopatra,” responded another executive.

In another incident, Angelina was approached about starring in an actual Cleopatra film with Sony executives asking via email which directors Ms. Jolie would prefer to work with on the project. As Scott Rudin learned of the discussion with Angelina, his response was immediate and certain.

“YOU BETTER SHUT ANGIE DOWN…” Rudin exclaimed in one email with a follow up email further clarifying his position, as if there could have been any misinterpretation. “I have no desire to be making a movie with her.”

Scott Rudin wasn’t the only person to criticize Angelina Jolie in those Sony emails. Reviews of Unbroken , which premiered in 2014, prompted reactions from both Amy Pascal and Susan Van Der Werff.

“Doesn’t sound like academy [awards] to me,” Pascal said.

“That’s exactly what I thought when I read [the review],” responded Susan in a reply email. “Angie has been working very hard at wooing hfpa [Hollywood Foreign Press Association] though.”

Consequently, Ms. Jolie was snubbed by the Golden Globes that year.

It seems Hollywood has no sympathy for Angelina, even so soon after Ms. Jolie’s most recent batch of surgeries , but at least she still has Brad Pitt and “the new black baby,” as Ms. Pascal said of Ms. Jolie’s adopted daughter Zahara in another email.
