The Xbox One release date has been confirmed.
We finally have an answer, and not a minute too soon. Microsoft has confirmed the actual release date for the Xbox One, and here’s hoping they don’t flip flop on this one as well.
Early rumors were started when a company close to Walmart stated that the Xbox One release date would be November 8, a week ahead of the PlayStation 4, but that rumor turned out to be just a rumor after all.
Another rumor was spawned when Amazon listed the Xbox One and all of its first-party peripherals with the date of November 27. It seemed legitimate until we realized the date was simply a place-holder so the listings could exist, as previously reported by The Inquisitr .
The actual confirmed Xbox One release date was announced unofficially through a leaked email from a major internet corporation. The release date coincides with that of its predecessor and comes a week after the competition.
Yes, the official confirmed release date for the Xbox One is November 22.
For European fans still hoping to get a pre-order of the console, there is still time to get your Day One Edition with a free copy of FIFA 14 , thanks to more of them now being made. Hurry though, as next generation consoles in general seem to be selling out just through pre-orders.
The Xbox One will be available November 22 in 13 territories, which include Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, UK, and the US. It is unknown at this point whether other countries will be included eventually, though the two largest countries, India and China, are noticeably missing from the list.
