WWE News: Conor McGregor Insults John Cena In Latest Interview

Published on: August 14, 2016 at 11:39 PM

For those who wondered if Conor McGregor had ulterior motives for his recent verbal attack against the WWE, Conor’s latest comments might actually lend some credence to that idea. After calling all of the WWE locker room pu**ies, McGregor has now focused his attention on one of the good guys from the locker room, John Cena.

MMA Mania reported that Conor McGregor launched into a new tirade on John Cena, calling him a “40-year old failed motherf***er.” McGregor called the WWE superstars “dweebs” and then Conor just insulted Cena to no end.

“The main guy, John Cena, he’s 40 years of age and he’s running around in a luminous orange t-shirt and a head band, talking about nobody can see him. We can see him right there. He’s a big fat, 40-year-old failed Mr. Olympia motherf****r.”

Conor McGregor is clearly out of line here. John Cena has been the face of the WWE for over a decade now. Cena has granted more Make a Wish Foundation wishes than any other celebrity or athlete in history. While John has many WWE fans who don’t like his character in the ring, no one can deny what a great ambassador Cena is outside of the ring.

This attack by Conor McGregor really makes no sense. McGregor is calling John Cena, one of the most athletic men in the WWE, fat. Cena checks in at 251 pounds and his workout videos show that he is almost solid muscle. Cena has also never failed a drug test, which is more than can be said for some of McGregor’s fellow UFC fighters. Of course, Cena does outweigh Connor, who is only 170 pounds. McGregor would be a major lightweight compared to even the cruiserweights of the WWE locker room.

Conor McGregor also answered “Nature Boy” Ric Flair’s accusations that Conor stole his gimmick for the UFC. McGregor denied stealing any gimmick from Flair, claiming that he has no gimmick.

“This ain’t no gimmick. This is the real s**t. I gotta get in and fight a man for real with no script, with no nothing. So he was talking about bringing some of the wrestler guys over to challenge me, come bring it then. This is the real s**t over here. If you want to come over we can fight no problem.”

Now, there is a very good chance that if someone asked Conor McGregor if he is just putting on a show for a future WWE debut, Conor would probably deny it. If McGregor does want to join the WWE, John Cena at one time said that a wrestler will add about 20 pounds to their real weight when they debut, so Conor could pretend to be closer to 200 pounds so he isn’t seen as such a lightweight.

It has to be said that when MMA Mania reported that Conor McGregor started his original feud with the WWE in the media, McGregor said that the locker room were all pu**ies but then said that The McMahons, Triple H, and The Rock were all “dons.” For Conor to make sure not to insult the three people who write the checks and the biggest WWE star in Hollywood makes it look like McGregor is trying to keep his butt covered.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, many WWE stars spoke out after Conor McGregor’s original insults, including Roman Reigns . One man who didn’t say anything about what Conor originally said was John Cena, because he usually remains above controversy. It will be interesting to see how Cena reacts now that Conor McGregor has spoken his name.
