For months, WWE superstar Stardust has been waging a Twitter war with Stephen Amell of Arrow fame. He’s even taken it as far as to call him out in promos at WWE live events, but Amell never did much but respond a few times on Twitter. Now, WWE has confirmed that Amell will appear on Monday Night Raw next week to confront Stardust and possibly set up a match for SummerSlam .
The two have waged war for a while now, and at times, it was rumored that Amell would end up in a match against Stardust at some point. Fans would often ask him about it, and he would say that it wasn’t happening.
Near the end of Monday Night Raw this evening, Amell finally gave the fans what they’ve been asking for.
Ok @StardustWWE — you asked for it. See you next Monday. #AmellGetsRaw pic.twitter.com/A9v9ReZHa5

After Raw , WWE sent out a press release to confirm that Stephen Amell of the hit series Arrow would be on Monday Night Raw on August 10. There is no mention of Stardust in the press release at all, and WWE is simply promoting it as a celebrity appearance. Immediately, his appearance has been picked up by numerous media outlets .
Still, WWE has followed along with Stardust’s antics and calling out Amell over the last weeks and months. Recently, even William Shatner got involved and came to the defense of Stephen Amell.

It is expected that Amell will be involved in a match of some kind at SummerSlam , but it isn’t known what his role will be as of yet. He could end up in a tag match or just be in someone’s corner to oppose Stardust.
Lately, Neville has gotten involved in things with Stardust, and it makes a lot of sense. With Neville’s finisher being called the “Red Arrow,” he fits right in with the DC Comics’ superhero played by Amell on television.
If a match is put together, expect Amell to either tag with Neville or be in his corner to face off with Stardust at SummerSlam .

If that match does get made, it would be the third match set for the card if another isn’t made this week. Actually, only Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker is set, but Seth Rollins taking on John Cena in a “Winner Take All” match is expected to be confirmed soon.
A hero is needed to fight the villain, and that is why Stephen Amell ( Arrow ) will appear on WWE Monday Night Raw next week to confront Stardust. It also won’t hurt for him to promote his role as Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 as well.
