While SmackDown Live prepares for WWE TLC 2016 this Sunday, the superstars of Monday Night Raw had a huge episode with two title defenses and major announcements for both WWE Roadblock: End of the Line and WWE Royal Rumble 2017 . Three major stories came out of this week’s Raw , as Sasha Banks became a three-time champion after defeating Charlotte in a Falls Count Anywhere Match as the night’s main event. Earlier in the show, Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens to earn a title shot at Roadblock , and Paul Heyman announced that Brock Lesnar would be entering the 2017 Royal Rumble Match to get his hands on Goldberg.
WWE Monday Night Raw Results
The following includes the results of all the matches and segments from WWE Raw on November 28, which aired live from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. Raw has won the “ratings war” ever since the separate rosters were established, although SmackDown Live has been keeping the competition close. Will the ratings victory streak remain alive as this week’s Monday Night Raw goes without an appearance from Brock Lesnar or Bill Goldberg?
Raw Pre-Show on the WWE Network
Scott Stanford hosted the Raw Pre-Show and was joined by Lita, Booker T, and Jerry “The King” Lawler in the studio. Cathy Kelley provided an update regarding the WWE Universe and all things social media, while Charly Caruso provided an update from backstage at the live event. They also showed a segment in which Mick Foley talked to Sami Zayn about Braun Strowman, where he refused to grant Zayn the rematch he was requesting.
Roman Reigns challenged Kevin Owens on The Highlight Reel
Chris Jericho was in the ring at the beginning of Monday Night Raw for another edition of The Highlight Reel . He started off by introducing WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens, and the best friends seemed to be on the same page. But then, as Y2J was about to put the United States Champion on the “List of Jericho” for interrupting Jeri-KO, Owens made it clear that he wasn’t interested in hearing about it from Jericho. Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns was booked for later in the show, with a WWE Universal Championship Match at Roadblock: End of the Line up for grabs.
After a commercial break, as General Manager Mick Foley approached Kevin and Chris backstage, Jericho made it clear that his feelings were hurt and that he was no longer interested in being best friends with Owens.

Braun Strowman defeated R-Truth
R-Truth got in no offense in this very short match. Afterward, Strowman and Goldust started brawling, which brought out Sami Zayn. It took an entire team of referees, along with Mick Foley, to stop Strowman from destroying Zayn.

After a commercial break, Sami Zayn confronted Foley in the ring, calling him a hypocrite for saying that Zayn simply couldn’t beat a superstar like Braun Strowman.
Tony Nese defeated Cedric Alexander
While it looked like Cedric Alexander might win this match, Drew Gulak came to the ring to provide just enough of a distraction to allow his friend Nese to get the win. During the match, they showed Alicia Fox watching backstage, as they continue to tease the idea that there is a budding romance between Fox and Alexander. This segment also highlighted the debut of 205 Live , which premieres on the WWE Network this week.

Seth Rollins attacked Chris Jericho in the parking lot
After Chris Jericho gave a very rude interview to Charly Caruso backstage, he was met at his car by Seth Rollins. After the two brawled for a few minutes around the parking lot, the segment ended with Rollins delivering a Pedigree to Y2J on top of a car.
Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks ended in a double count-out
As the Raw Women’s Championship Match spilled out of the ring and into the live audience at ringside, Charlotte made sure to keep Sasha out of the ring until both competitors were counted out, leaving the title around the champion’s waist. However, Mick Foley made yet another appearance and announced that the two would compete in another title match later in the show with stipulations that included No Count Out, No Disqualification, and Falls Count Anywhere.
The #RAW #WomensChampionship Match will NOT end with a countout. It’ll restart later tonight as a #FallsCountAnywhere Match! @RealMickFoley pic.twitter.com/hGye3ZMcPi

Rusev was disqualified against Enzo Amore
As Enzo and Big Cass made their way to the ring, they held nothing back as they reminded Rusev and the entire WWE Universe that Lana ran into a naked Amore on Raw last week. The match only lasted a few seconds, as Rusev blatantly kicked Enzo below the belt and took the disqualification.
Despite the turkey talk towards @LanaWWE on #RAW , it was @RusevBUL that painfully rearranged @WWEAaLLday21 ‘s “giblets” via DQ. pic.twitter.com/TLl7Bc75Dt

Rich Swann defeated Noam Dar
In a warm-up for his WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match on the premiere of 205 Live , Rich Swann defeated Noam Dar. With The Brian Kendrick providing guest commentary, Swann addressed his opponent directly after the match, saying the third time he beats Kendrick will be the sweetest.
Sheamus and Cesaro got in a bar fight
After Cesaro and Sheamus were shown together at a bar in Charlotte, they got in a fight with a few of the customers and took the bar over for themselves. Their odd couple shtick will apparently continue on Monday Night Raw .
Maybe that partnership between @WWESheamus & @WWECesaro wasn’t a bad thing after all? #RAW #BarFight pic.twitter.com/EZbso38EV4

Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens
Earning himself a shot at the WWE Universal Championship in the main event of WWE Roadblock: End of the Line in December, U.S. Champion Roman Reigns got a victory over Kevin Owens. In an interview backstage with Charly Caruso after a commercial break, Owens blamed the loss on the fact that his mind was elsewhere: on the well-being of his best friend, Chris Jericho.

The New Day defeated Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson
Getting even closer to breaking Demolition’s record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE history, The New Day (represented this week by Xavier Woods and Big E) picked up a victory over Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. That makes back-to-back successful title defenses on Raw for the champs, with nothing announced for next week’s show.

Sasha Banks defeated Charlotte for the Raw Women’s Championship in a Falls Count Anywhere Match
Marking the second time that Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair headlined Monday Night Raw with a title match, The Boss defeated The Queen in her hometown after dedicating the match to her opponent’s father, Ric Flair. The brutality of the match resulted in the live audience chanting “E-C-Dub” when Sasha repeatedly hit Charlotte with a kendo stick. The end came when Sasha put the champ in the Bank Statement, wrapped around the metal handrails on the steps in the audience.
