With Guillermo del Toro’s newest film Crimson Peak set to make a showing at this year’s Comic-Con in San Diego, many are wondering which cast members of the gothic horror movie will be making an appearance.

Crimson Peak centers on the story of the Thomas ( Tom Hiddleston ) and Lucille (Jessica Chastain), who marry and move into Thomas’ old family home, Allerdale Hall. Although things start off fairly normal for the couple, things quickly turn for the worse as the house comes alive.

In a recent interview with Collider , Hiddleston explained how the movie starts out as a typical romance, then quickly changes to something else entirely.

“There is kink. It begins with romance and progresses to king,” he revealed, adding, “it’s really kinky.”

The film also stars Mia Wasikowska as Thomas’ sister and Charlie Hunnam , who plays an old childhood friend and lover of Lucille.

Although it is all but certain that del Toro will be there in attendance, fans will be thrilled to known that Bustle is reporting that Hiddleston will be there as well. As many may recall, Hiddleston has a past history of attending the event. In fact, back in 2013, Hiddleston showed up in his Loki garb and had the crowd kneel, leaving little doubt that the actor thoroughly enjoys the event.

Additionally, there is a good chance that both Chastain and Wasikowska will also be there since this would mark the first time they have attended Comic-Con. However, there is some doubt about Hunnam being present.

Despite the fact that Hunnam hasn’t missed the San Diego event since 2011, the Pacific Rim and Sons of Anarchy star has revealed that his role in Crimson Peak is a small one.

“I’m not really in it that much,” he explained in an interview with Details . “When I’m in it, it’s significant, but I really just did it because I love Guillermo and wanted to work with him again.”

Since he has such a small role in the movie, there is a chance he might not show up at Comic-Con. However, nothing official has been announced on the matter, so he very well may show up anyway.

Meanwhile, whichever cast members do show up, they will be presenting alongside Krampus and Warcraft in a panel that is set to be moderated by Chris Hardwick, Variety reports.
