The Westboro Baptist Church have announced that they are going to protest Kim Davis, calling the Kentucky native a “fake Christian” and “a self-righteous hypocrite.”
The hate group took to their Twitter account on Friday to confirm their plans to picket Davis, who entered the news last month over her refusal to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
The Westboro Baptist Church not only confirmed their plans, but they also launched their own attack on Davis through a hoard of Tweets, each of which explained why they wanted to protest against Davis.
There’s nothing like fake Christians to confuse a situation. So WBC will picket Kim Davis to bring clarity! pic.twitter.com/nupIqknnCu

The Westboro Baptist Church have confirmed that they will commence with their protest on Monday, stating that they’ve decided to picket Kim Davis because she committed adultery. They will stand outside of Rowan County Clerk’s office, which is where Davis works, to abuse and throw scorn her way.
The Westboro Baptist Church also released a statement explaining in further detail why they’re heading to Morehead, Kentucky, which they uploaded to their website . It reads:
“So when God Almighty put a spotlight upon the proud sinners and self-righteous hypocrites Kim Davis and her so-called ‘supporters’, we must GO, because we follow the Lamb, withersoever he goeth…
“Kim claims that she has lived in proud sin for many years, divorcing and remarrying, not one time or two times, in fact you need a score card to keep track. Her lawyers, being smooth talking fellows say that all that was before her call to salvation two years ago when her current mother-in-law died…
“These matters are not hard and unclear. That man that Kim Davis is living with and calling her husband, IS NOT! Her husband is Dwain Wallace, who she married when she was 18-years-old. It does not matter how many years you pile on, it was adultery at the beginning and it was adultery in the middle and it is indeed adultery today!”
Kim Davis reached national attention last month when, while serving as the county clerk of Rowan County, Kentucky, she refused to issue marriage licenses to gay or lesbian couples, despite the fact that she was legally obligated to by order of the Supreme Court.
Davis defied a court order that required her to issue these licenses, which led to her being sued by four couples. She was then ordered to issue these licenses by the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky, but Davis continued to refuse, insisting that she was acting “under God’s authority.”
She was later jailed for contempt of court for five days, and when she was released she insisted that she wouldn’t interfere with her deputies, who had been issuing these licenses.
