Wendy Williams Joins Sharon Osbourne As Most Disliked Talk Show Host

Wendy Williams has joined Sharon Osbourne as one of the most vilified talk show hosts in showbiz. Unfortunately, for Sharon, her daughter Kelly’s bigoted remarks about Latinos has made the Osbourne family the topic of scorn on Twitter. But perhaps Wendy Williams, who body-shamed Ariana Grande last week, can take attention away from Sharon Osbourne and her fallen daughter.

E! News quotes Wendy Williams slamming Ariana Grande .

“She’s 21. She’ll forever look 12. And I don’t mean that in a good way. It’s nice to look younger than you are, but when you look too young and then you’re short—she’s only like 4’11”. I don’t look at her as, like, a woman.”

Williams soon earned the scorn of Ariana Grande fans and non-fans alike on Twitter

A couple weeks back, when Madonna posted a picture of her two African-American adopted children rubbing her feet, Wendy Williams tried to create outrage and failed. She also accused Madonna of giving Drake rabies when she kissed him. It’s hard to measure who Wendy Williams hates more — Ariana Grande or Madonna. Perhaps, Wendy hates everyone.

There are several petitions on Change.org aimed to get Wendy Williams fired. However, the one that has received the most signatures (190) occurred after Williams slammed Caitlyn Jenner. The mission statement wanted Williams to apologize.

“Sign this petition to have Wendy Williams off the face of television, or have her issue a formal apology not only to Bruce Jenner, but to every one else she has offended with her talk show, transgendered or not.”

The rest of the petition notes that this type of conduct from a grown woman shouldn’t be acceptable. Some of those who signed the petition were very angry.

“I am disgusted. She is an extremely rude and judgmental person who only says things like this to get her disgusting show more ratings and has no sensitivity at all. So nasty and so rude,” claimed Jennifer Parra of Los Angeles, CA.

“This isn’t the first time she has said something offensive and unnecessarily mean. She needs to face the consequences for her actions,” said Daniel Scott of Quincy, MA.

Wendy Williams may be disliked, but she continues to rule the ratings. According to Advertising Age , Williams attracts 2.4 million viewers a day. Her “Hot Topics” segment always goes viral right after it airs. Perhaps Wendy Williams enjoys all the backlash; it means more money in her bank account.
