The polygamist’s diary offer insight into the thoughts and actions of the convicted felon. As previously reported by The Inquisitr , Warren Jeffs’ Yearning for Zion Ranch is in danger of being seized by the state of Texas.
Details about Jeffs’ custom-made bed came to light when excerpts from the fundamentalist leader’s diary were read aloud during the property seizure hearing. The diary reportedly contained a detailed daily accounting of the polygamist leader’s life from 2002 to 2006. He kept meticulous notes about his followers allegedly being driven out of their home area of Utah, according to the Houston Chronicle .
The Warren Jeffs diary also contained details about communications with other FLDS church leaders and revelations which he reportedly considered to be instructions from God. Jeffs wrote this in his priesthood records about the custom-made bed:
“It should be made so the table top can come off. It will be on wheels. When the mattress is in place, this bench will be to the right side of the bed. This will be made so that it can be taken apart and stored in a closet where no one can see it. When I need it, I will pull it out and set it up. The bed will be a size big enough for me to lay on. It will be covered with a sheet, but it will have a plastic cover to protect the mattress from what will happen on it.”
