Every night at the Magic Kingdom park at Walt Disney World , a dance party takes place in Tomorrowland. Characters from Disney-Pixar’s The Incredibles take to the stage to dance with guests who are both young and old. Recently, a video was captured of Mr. and Mrs. Incredible dancing, but in a modern-day fashion as they did the Whip and the Nae Nae.
Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible busted a move to Silento’s “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).”
It may not have a lot of shares on YouTube as of yet, but Shauna Sandiford Patterson originally shared it on Facebook and it’s gotten a bit more attention. Since posting it on July 16, it already has over 2.2 million views and has been shared over 48,000 times.
“Has anyone else ever seen a Disney Character dance like this? It’s not your average Disney dance, but we had fun watching!”
Every night at Magic Kingdom, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible are joined by Frozone for the #INCREDIBLESSuperDanceParty . The party takes place at the Tomorrowland Stage and invites guests to join in on the fun and dance.
The characters are introduced throughout the night after their short breaks, and hit the stage. They’ll dance and pose before heading down the steps into the crowd to dance with everyone. This time, Mr. and Mrs. Incredible simply wanted to bust out the Whip and Nae Nae for everyone’s enjoyment.
Seeing characters break out into full dance mode, one that isn’t Disney choreographed, doesn’t happen all the time. Usually, they have to go about things in the Disney way, but sometimes they are given the freedom to do what comes naturally.
Mr. and Mrs. Incredible breaking out the Whip and Nae Nae isn’t the first time that a Disney character has performed a popular dance. Tigger, Eeyore, and Winnie the Pooh all got in on it at Disneyland previously.
There was also the time that Daisy Duck decided to have some fun and do the whole dance to Soulja Boy’s “Tell’Em – Crank That.” Some have often wondered how she was able to do some of those moves in red heels.
When going to Walt Disney World , or anywhere that Disney characters may be, it’s best to always have your camera at the ready. Not only will you get some memories to last a lifetime, but it’s also possible that you could catch something totally unexpected like Mr. and Mrs. Incredible doing the Whip and Nae Nae to Silento’s “Watch Me.”
