When Greg Cook returned home to his Limestone County, Alabama home after a tornado had destroyed his house and 50 others he feared the worst. His Chocolate Labrador Coco was home at the time and was feared to be dead.
Sometime miracles happen though. And even though his house was destroyed and his town lay in ruins after the Category 5 tornado ripped through the rural Alabama town .
According to WAFF.com , Cook ran to his house after the winds had subsided ad crawled through a window of what was once his house. He crawled into a hallway and found the dog wet and shaking.
Cook told the news station,
“It was just such a relief, I was happy to see him. I love my dog, he’s my best friend and I was just so happy to see him.”
After the two were reunited Cook broke down in tears.
Coco isn’t the only miracle of the tornado story. Currently, 14-month-old Angel Babcock is fighting for her life in Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Angel was the only survivor amongst her family when the tornado hit her house. She was found in a nearby field after the storm.
Does it warm your heart to hear these stories of modern day miracle s that happen in the face of natural disasters?
