Set photos were recently released showing off the amazing set design and what will surely be gorgeous CGI landscapes once the final film is completely finished. Hiddleston spoke with Entertainment Weekly and revealed how much fun he is having on set so far, while also complimenting the director’s vision for the movie.
“I’m having such a good time. Taika Waititi is brilliant, and his vision for his Thor film is so full of wit and humor and drama.”
The actor revealed he’s been on location for over a week, mentioning the amazing acting talent on the project, and is happy to be playing Loki yet again for the fourth time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. “To don the black hair and leather and all of Loki’s stuff is good fun,” Hiddleston said.
On this particular day of the interview, Hiddleston was preparing for a “fight day” the next day, playing coy on which character in the film he is facing off against. Hiddleston has hinted at a possible confrontation/fight between Loki and Hulk, which sounds like it will definitely be a big moment for fans.
Along with having the title of God of Mischief, Tom has another new title he can add to his resume: Emmy Award nominee. Hiddleston was nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series or a Television Movie for his performance in the BBC adaptation of John le Carré’s The Night Manager . Co-star Hugh Laurie received an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor, and the mini-series overall earned a total of 12 Emmy nominations .
Hiddleston said it is the “most thrilling and heartwarming affirmation for the team, the whole of The Night Manager , for Susanne Bier, for Hugh Laurie, for Olivia Colman, and Simon and Stephen Cornwell and Stephen Garrett, all of our producers.”
This is Hiddleston’s first Emmy nomination and the actor wasn’t expecting to be nominated. He was asleep while the nominations were being announced by Lauren Graham and Anthony Anderson, after seeing a screening of Ghostbusters , which was hosted by Chris Hemsworth.
Speaking of Hemsworth, the Rush actor briefly commented on the relationship that has now become known as “ Hiddleswift ” in the tabloids. According to him, the two look happy.
Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift’s relationship has turned into an incredibly hot topic as of late, and Hiddleston himself finally touched on this as well. He’s assured everyone that there is no staged romance or a publicity stunt .

“Well, um. How best to put this? That notion is — look, the truth is that Taylor Swift and I are together, and we’re very happy. Thanks for asking. That’s the truth. It’s not a publicity stunt.”
Outside of that, Tom is remaining pretty silent on all other details regarding his new girlfriend. According to an eyewitness via ET , Taylor Swift was with Hiddleston during the Ghostbusters screening. During the Hollywood Reporter Q&A, Tom said he does not know who he will be bringing with him to the Emmy’s, but it may very well end up being Swift.
