Tired of the Jaguars lack of offensive anything, fans of the team are holding a Tim Tebow rally Monday to convince ownership to sign the hometown hero.
The opportunity could be exactly what Tebow is looking for. Despite contract offers in Canada, Russia , and even the Arena Football League , Tebow refuses to leave the NFL. He also refuses to play a position other than quarterback. Good for him the Jaguars desperately need a quarterback.
Fans have a long road ahead of them to convince ownership to take on a chance on the former Broncos starter. When Tebow was a free agent prior to signing with the Patriots (which he has since been released), owner Shahid Khan said the team had no interest.
Maybe the ineptitude of current Jaguar quarterbacks Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne will change Khan’s mind. The only touchdown either quarterback could lead their team too was a garbage time touchdown against the Raiders. Let that sink in for a moment.
Will a Tim Tebow rally really work though ? In this case maybe. There’s honestly no reason the Jaguars shouldn’t take a chance on Tebow. Three bad quarters of offense is better than four anyways.
The rally, which will be held at Everbank Field on Monday, will last three hours and 16 minutes. Tebow, just as famous for his fourth quarter comebacks as his faith, wore the religious numbers on his eye black in college.
The whole reason Jaguars fans want Tebow to play for them is his college. Tebow won the Heisman Trophy while leading the Florida Gators to a national championship. He is also from Jacksonville. Fans just want their hometown hero back.

All light hearted joking aside, the Jaguars should consider Tim Tebow. At the end of the day the NFL is a business and signing Tebow would be a great business move. It would excite fans and bring them to the stadium on Sundays.
Do you think the Tim Tebow rally will work?
