Theo Rossi is perhaps most well-known as the character Juan Carlos “Juice” Ortiz to fans of Sons of Anarchy .

When it comes to Juice’s death, Theo Rossi told Deadline that Juice was a sweet soul who only wanted a family.
“He was an innocent in an extremely chaotic world. He was such a sweet soul and he never belonged in the situations he was in. He led with his heart and not his head, and all he searched for his entire existence in that show was a family. He just wanted to be accepted. He wanted people to love him and because of that, he was extremely manipulated. I’ve never played a character like that. I usually play guys who are moving forward regardless of anybody else.”
Interestingly, when asked what his wife thought of Juice’s look, Theo Rossi replied that she loved it.
“It’s funny. My wife absolutely loved the Juice look. She used to get extremely excited. In the new film I’m doing now I have a lot of hair and a beard, but I’m actually covered in tattoos all over my body and my arms. We were just on FaceTime before and she’s like, ‘you know, make sure when you get on the plane you don’t take those off.’”

Cinema Blend reported last year that Theo Rossi talked about Juice and how much he will miss the character .
“I will never, ever play a character like Juice again. He felt every single emotion in a very short amount of time. Like, literally played every emotion. And, as an actor, it’s like a dream job to be put in those situations. Juice was one that literally sat with me. It pushed your mind to a place where you don’t necessarily want to go, to make it believable.”
Theo Rossi spoke with Marcus James Dixon, editor of Gold Derby , in an online interview, and he said goodbye to Sons of Anarchy .
Fortunately, Theo Rossi didn’t disappear or even slow down when Sons of Anarchy ended. In fact, he seems to be in high demand. He will appear in the 2016 movie Low Riders , and he also recently finished shooting When the Bough Breaks , which is due out in September 2016.
Prior to these two movies, Pulse reports that Theo Rossi was cast as Todd Kendall in Bad Hurt , which is due for release in theaters on February 12, 2016.

The synopsis of the movie sounds intense.
“Life for the Kendalls has been burdened by grief and claustrophobia. Faced with caring for one child with special needs and another with PTSD, the family struggles for a sense of stability at home in their Staten Island, NY hamlet. When a secret from the past is revealed, it threatens to tear them apart.”

Most recently, Deadline reports that Theo Rossi has been cast in Marvel’s new television show Luke Cage , which is sure to have a different feel from Sons of Anarchy . Theo Rossi’s role is described by Cinema Blend .
“I hear Rossi was cast to play the ‘Sonny’ role, described as relentless and menacing, smooth and manipulative, street smart and controlling.”
In Luke Cage , Theo Rossi will, in fact, appear in the third series as Shades (aka Alvarez), who is Luke Cage’s arch enemy. It will be truly exciting to see Rossi enter the Marvel universe, and as a villain no less. Plus, once associated with the Marvel universe, the sky’s the limit for actors and actresses alike. It will be interesting to see where Theo Rossi goes from here.
