The Walking Dead fans might get to see a few more happy reunions during Season 5.
Most of the survivors were reunited by the end of Season 4, but they didn’t all make it to the Terminus death trap. Because of this, there’s been a lot of speculation about what will happen to the three missing members of the group: Tyreese (Chad Coleman), Carol (Melissa McBride), and Beth (Emily Kinney).
Warning: Spoilers lay head.
Some of the biggest worries seem to be that Beth will simply disappear from the show for a really long time or that she’ll become Termite tacos (maybe they have Taco Tuesdays instead of Spaghetti Wednesdays). Luckily, recent reports suggest that fans will finally find out what happened to her during season 5 of The Walking Dead .
According to The Spoiling Dead Fans , there have been reports that Emily Kinney was spotted on the set of The Walking Dead with Norman Reedus. This could be good news for Bethyl fans, or it could just turn out to be one of the many rumors that have plagued the show during shooting. Here’s what The Spoiling Dead report said:
“Along with Norman being on set, some have stated they have seen Emily. We haven’t confirmed anyone besides Norman currently. They have also brought in a huge tarp and told those on the ground they won’t be letting anyone watch tonight.”
Even if Emily Kinney and Norman Reedus haven’t been shooting scenes together, it does sound like Beth will pop up at some point during Season 5 of The Walking Dead . Here’s what Scott Gimple told Comicbookmovie.com about her fate:
“I will say Beth, in some state, is totally somewhere. I’ll say then, that that’s going to be answered next season. And I’m really excited to tell everybody the answer. It might be a little heartbreaking, it might be a little heartwarming, but it’s going to be interesting.”
Unfortunately for Bethyl fans, there’s proof that Daryl Dixon is going to be reunited with another woman who holds a special place in his heart — Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride have been photographed filming together on The Walking Dead set.
In the photos, Carol can be seen carrying a very large firearm. Perhaps she and Tyreese come across the other survivors’ buried guns, or maybe they get their hands on some of the Termites’ weaponry. If Carol reunites Rick with his daughter and saves him from being turned into stew, the sheriff will owe her his life. However, he shouldn’t feel too terrible for kicking her out of the prison — she wouldn’t be around to save everyone if he hadn’t. Instead, she’d likely be dead or locked up in that train car with everyone else.
Unfortunately for Caryl shippers, Prince Pookie’s Cherokee Rose Princess might suffer a fate worse than Beth’s (or at least one that’s similar to it). As previously reported by The Inquisitr , fans watching The Walking Dead set spotted Melissa McBride’s character getting hit by a station wagon with a cross on it. After Carol got hit by the vehicle, two men dressed like cops placed her unconscious body on a cot and loaded her into the car. Maybe she gets taken to the same place Beth was whisked away to, and maybe she’ll help the poor girl escape so that they can fight over Daryl later on.
Judging from all these spoilers, it’s looking like the survivors might actually escape from Terminus pretty quickly, but they might have to take a blood bath to escape being barbecued. Here’s what Robert Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly about the survivors’ escape from their train car prison:
“It is through ingenuity and creativity and somewhat savageness that they are able to make their way out of that train car.”
But if they quickly take care of the Termites, who will be the new Big Bad on The Walking Dead ? Will it be whoever kidnapped Beth, or will it be comic book character Father Gabriel? And are these two characters one and the same? What do you think?
