If you want to try the Slip and Fly waterslide, you have just one opportunity every year. But after watching this rather spectacular video of the slide in action, you may just decide that a ride on the Slip and Fly is not on your agenda anytime soon.
On the other hand, you may watch this video and say, “I must do that! Because I am insane.”
If you experience the latter reaction, start packing your bags for Butler, Ohio — but not until next year, because the Slip and Fly is open to the public exactly one weekend out of every year , and you already missed this year’s weekend — which was August 23 and 24.
Otherwise, the Slip and Fly is part of the Ohio Dreams Action Sports Camp , which is for kids ages 7 to 17 who are into skateboardng, BMX biking, snowboarding and various other “X-Games” style activities.
If you haven’t watched the video, put together by filmmaker Brice Milleson , you’re probably wondering, what’s the big deal about this thing? Who hasn’t been on a waterslide?
Well, let’s just say they don’t call it Slip and Fly for nothing.
