Actress Sanaa Lathan hasn’t denied that she’s dating French Montana, which has only exacerbated the rumors that The Perfect Guy star and musician are an item.
Lathan was asked about her relationship status during her appearance on 93 L.A.’s Big Boy In The Morning, via Bossip . Lathan was on the show to promote her appearance in The Perfect Guy , which topped the box-office over the weekend.
The titular host, Big Boy, decided this was the perfect opportunity to ask Lathan about the recent rumors linking her to French Montana. Big Boy started off his questioning with, “I just heard something with French Montana […] Are you and French dating?”
This led 43-year-old Sanaa Lathan to remark, “I don’t talk about my personal life. Let’s play put it this way, I am dating. I’m dating…”
Big Boy was rather buoyed by this remark, which led him to ask, “Well you just talked about your personal life, there it is. We got the exclusive,” before he then asked, “Who’s the perfect guy to you?”
This led Sanaa Lathan to respond, “I don’t think anybody’s perfect […] I love somebody who has a sense of humor and who can laugh like yourself. It’s not easy dating someone who has love scenes with Morris Chestnut and Michael Ealy.”
After Latan’s interview on the show, people decided that the fact that Sanaa Lathan didn’t take this opportunity to deny that she was dating 30-year-old French Montana was evidence that she was actually dating the rapper.
Montana previously dated Khloe Kardashian shortly after the reality television star had separated from her husband, Lamar Odom. However, just over a year later, the pair’s relationship had appeared to have come to an end, with Montana admitting on a radio show that he was now single.
Sanaa Lathan has previously appeared in the likes of The Best Man, Alien vs. Predator, while she also voiced the character of Donna Tubbs in The Cleveland Show . However, her most recent film, The Perfect Guy , surprised box office experts over the last few days, after it topped the box office this weekend, recording $25.9 million in its opening days.
The film was only made for $12 million, while it tells the story of the recently single Leah Vaughn, played by Lathan, who thinks that she’s found the man of her dreams in Carter Duncan (Michael Ealy), but he turns out to have a darker side that he’d kept hidden from her.
