Terry Crews has a viral Facebook video on his hands where he exposes an addiction to porn that sent him to rehab to get over. Crews spoke in a video, wherein Terry talked about porn nearly costing him his marriage — but it ended with hope after Crews talked about speaking about his porn addiction, and therefore taking the power away from the secret.
WOW! Thats not something you hear about often, but much respect to @terrycrews for sharing his “DIRTY LITTLE SECRET https://t.co/hxwV03ZCGD

On Crews ‘ Facebook page, Terry spoke about his porn addiction in a video called “ Dirty Little Secret,” which has gained more than 3.3 million views since it was posed to Facebook on February 11.
Crews and his wife, Rebecca King-Crews, as seen in the above photo from Thursday, December 3, 2015, have long been celebrated as a Hollywood couple with staying power. Terry starred in the sitcom Everybody Hates Chris , as well as in a variety of commercials and movies — with Crews becoming well-known as a fitness fanatic who won the world over by popping his pectoral muscles independently.
The event attended by the Crews was the GQ Men of the Year Party at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles — but it was one that might not have happened if Terry hadn’t gotten his porn addiction under control. Crews said that Rebecca threatened to leave him — but Terry realized he had to get his porn addiction under control for himself, not just for his wife. The viral video explained that porn made Terry begin to view people not as people but as body parts to be used, not as a human being with feelings.
For years, Terry’s dirty little secret was his addiction to pornography, and now that same admission is likely helping those who are sharing and viewing the viral video overcome their own porn addictions. Terry said porn addiction has became a worldwide problem. It was a problem that messed up Crews’ life in many ways that he didn’t anticipate.

By Terry not initially admitting his porn addiction to anyone else — not even his wife — he says that secrecy allowed it to grow bigger in his life. Crews says that some folks might not think a person can really be addicted to pornography. However, when day turned to night and a person is still watching porn, Terry said that’s a problem. It became such an issue that his wife said she didn’t know who Terry was anymore.
By opening up his dirty little secret to the whole world, Terry said that he’s engaging in a battle against the addiction, not people. Folks who are facing the same kind of porn addiction can find hope and help via the same means that Crews found help with his porn addiction.
“It changes the way you think about people. People become objects.”
Instead of people deserving of love, they are seen as body parts to be used, Terry said. He explained he had to change what he believed, once he realized the damage that porn was doing to his life and being. Crews said if his wife had really left him, that would’ve been her choice, but was glad she decided to stay with him because she knew he was repentant.
Rebecca knew Terry was sorry and saw that Crews was working to make amends to fix the problem.
Terry let his Facebook followers know that not every video from Crews would be so serious. He said that “intensity level Terry Crews” who is the personal trainer type of persona would be there, as well as the guy who sings about “making my way downtown, walking fast, faces pass and I’m homebound,” like he did in his funny and famous role in the movie White Chicks .
