Taylor Swift might enjoy the time she spends in other cities, but the singer currently has no plans to ever leave Nashville.
The country music darling’s fascination with the city began at an early age. Once she realized that folks like Shania Twain and Faith Hill began their careers in Nashville, Swift convinced her parents to relocate there after receiving a development deal at the age of 13.
During her chat with Time , Taylor admitted that she doesn’t plan to leave the city anytime soon. Although she admits that places like Los Angeles and New York have their own unique charms, her heart ultimately belongs to Nashville .
“I spend as much time in Nashville as I can. The cool thing about spending time in Nashville is that no one knows when I’m there. In New York and L.A., there are photographers waiting on the street, and it seems like every errand I run is photographed and documented,” Taylor Swift told the publication.
She continued, “You don’t see as much evidence of me spending time in Nashville, because I’m not being photographed at the grocery store. I’m just able to wander around the grocery store and make casual conversation with the girl standing next to me in the produce aisle.”
When she isn’t hanging out in Nashville, Taylor often spends her days in the wilds of Los Angeles. The Inquisitr previously reported that the singer and her new BFF Lorde spent a fair amount of time hanging out on a beach in Malibu . Curious to see photos from their excursion? Although Taylor Swift will never part ways with Nashville, apparently she doesn’t feel the same way about her publicist. Billboard is reporting that the singer and her publicist Paula Erickson have gone their separate ways . Swift reportedly wants to start handling all of her publicity in-house.
“Taylor will have her pick of top-shelf publicists, but the challenge is finding that person you know and trust. Bringing PR in-house assures that person is directly involved in advising on what needs to be done and what doesn’t,” a PR executive told the publication.
