Adrienne Bailon is opening up about the state of her friendship with seemingly former friend Tamar Braxton in the wake of her firing from the daytime talk show The Real this past May.

Adrienne got seriously candid about where she stands with Braxton after Tamar seemingly became embroiled in a pretty nasty feud with her former The Real co-hosts, including herself, Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley and Jeannie Mai, in a new interview with HOT 97 , where Bailon admitted that she will “always love” her seemingly former friend.

Adrienne, who has mainly stayed quit about Braxton’s departure from the show amid rampant reports of drama between the co-hosts, confirmed on the radio show that Tamar leaving “had absolutely nothing to do with us” but admitted that there’s no bad blood on her end when it comes to their friendship.

“That’s above my pay grade, so to speak. I can’t make those kind of decisions,” Adrienne said of Tamar’s firing, speaking candidly about Braxton’s departure for the show for the first time since The Real co-hosts were slammed by fans last month for ignoring Tamar’s departure during The Real’s Season 3 premiere.

Bailon was then asked if she still speaks to Tamar, who she was famously close to after the two got friendly on The Real , to which Adrienne confessed, “I love Tamar.”

“I will always love Tamar,” Adrienne continued, despite the Braxton Family Values star making it pretty clear she had no plans to continue a relationship with her former co-stars on numerous occasions.

Bailon’s confession about the current state of her relationship comes after months of feud reports between Adrienne and Tamar after Braxton took to social media to slam her former co-stars, accusing Bailon, Mai, Love and Mowry-Housley of using her name for publicity ahead of The Real’s Season 3 premiere in September.

Back in August, Tamar took serious aim at Adrienne, Loni, Tamera and Jeannie in a slew of now deleted tweets, seriously calling out her former co-stars and seemingly confirming a nasty feud.

BET reported that Braxton blasted her former friends after Tamera claimed that she and Tamar were still on speaking terms in a Periscope chat with fans, though Braxton quickly disputed her claims on social media.

“I wish that I would stop being brought up since I was so BAD,” Tamar hit back at Bailon and her co-stars on August 7. “No shade… but don’t believe the hype! I haven’t spoken to [anyone]… real friends don’t need press.”

Tamar then continued to slam Adrienne and Tamera in particular, blasting the twosome after a fan asked why both Bailon and Mowry-Housley attended her son’s third birthday party just weeks earlier if they’re no longer friends.

“Baby, they came took [pics] and left,” Braxton then hit back of Bailon and Mowry-Housley. “You’ve heard of let me save my a** right?”

Braxton’s slam came after she seemingly confirmed a feud and that their friendship was officially over, unfollowing Bailon and her fellow The Real co-hosts across social media.

Tamar’s actions added even more fuel to the feud rumors, which began to swirl after Braxton referred to her former The Real co-stars as “phony b****es” on Instagram just days after her firing.

Madame Noire reported that The Real feud first boiled over on May 31 after Braxton confirmed for the first time that things weren’t all good between herself and her former co-workers after she liked and commented on a post uploaded by a fan that put Loni, Adrienne, Tamera and Jeannie on blast.

According to the site, Braxton liked a post that showed Tamar leaning away was the group took a selfie while on the set accompanied by the caption, “when you in a room full of phony b*****es, it’s best to distance yourself.”

Tamar then commented on the photo, “Pretty much,” all but confirming a feud between herself and her former friends.

Braxton’s pretty shady Instagram post came just days after Adrienne praised Tamar on Instagram, referring to her as her sister while speaking out for the first time about her firing.

“My SISTER Forever,” Bailon captioned a black and white photo of herself and Tamar while acknowledging her departure from The Real for the first time in May. “The greatest thing that has come from being on the real is that I have found my best friend. My vault. My comedian & therapist. I love you. Always & Forever.”
