Kate Hudson opened up about her parenting in a new interview.
On Tuesday’s episode of ITV’s Good Morning Britain , Hudson got candid about raising her two sons, revealing she often experiences guilt over whether or not she’s being the best mom she can be.
“I think you always have a little bit of guilt that you could be doing more,” Hudson admitted . “It doesn’t matter if you a stay-at-home mom or working mom. I think the daily process of raising your children; you always feel like ‘Could I have done that differently? Could I have made a different choice? Was that the right time to discipline?’”
During her seven-year marriage to The Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson, Kate Hudson welcomed her first child, son Ryder, in 2004. Years later, in 2011, while dating Muse frontman Chris Bellamy , Hudson gave birth to her second son , Bingham.

Kate Hudson is a busy bee, but she’s always sure to make time for herself — and does so with a little dancing.
“It’s so easy that your kids become your whole life that sometimes you have to remember what you were individually and what drives you with happiness,” she explained. “For me it’s dance, it’s just one of those things. Sometimes I realize I haven’t been dancing much and I don’t understand what’s wrong with me or I don’t understand why I’m feeling one way and then it will just hit me ‘Oh I need to dance.’”
In other Kate Hudson news, the mother of two recently made headlines after recalling the moment she saw “a ghost of a woman with no face.”
“It is not really seeing, it is feeling a spirit,” the 35-year-old explained , noting that her mother, Goldie Hawn, also has the gift. “A fifth energy. I believe in energy. I believe our brains can manifest into visual things.”
When Hudson comes across these spirits, she’s sure to do her part and guide them in the right direction.
“When you see something, you are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don’t belong there,” she said. “When your brain is freaking out on you, you may have to remind it. Why is being dead funny?”
