Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar, and the 2015 Cricket All-Stars tour take over Houston Wednesday , and cricket fans can watch the whole spectacle live online. Two squads of the world’s greatest living cricketers — Warne’s Warriors and Sachin’s Blasters — face off in the second T20 match of their three-match series, in what has already become the greatest event United States-based fans of the world’s second-most popular sport have ever seen on home soil.
The All-Stars tour got rolling November 7 at the home of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets, Citi Field in New York City. An estimated 25,000 fans watched the side captained by 46-year-old former Australia great Warne successfully chase down the target of 141 set by Sachin’s Blasters in the 20-over match with six wickets and 16 balls remaining.
Retired 37-year-old India opener Virender Sehwag led the way for Sachin’s Blasters — after the sides were picked at random the night before the match — with a stunning 55 off of just 22 balls, with six sixes and three fours before being bowled by former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori.
Highlights of the show-stealing stand by India’s beloved “Viru” can be viewed in the video above on this page.
But longtime Australia Captain Ricky Ponting, 40, put together an unbeaten stand of 48 from 38 deliveries, and record-setting Sri Lanka batsman Kumar Sangakkara — who at 38 retired from international cricket only this August — added 42 from 29 to lead the Warne’s Warriors reply.
Other retired “all-stars” on the tour include Pakistan fast bowling legend Wasim Akram, India great VVS Laxman, six-foot-seven West Indies paceman Curtly Ambrose, all-time great fast bowler Glenn McGrath of Australia, all-time great batsman Brian Lara of the West Indies, South Africa speedster Jonty Rhodes, and about 20 more superstars whose names will be instantly familiar to cricket fans worldwide.

To find out how to watch the second T20 match of the 2015 Cricket All-Stars Tour of the United States, Warne’s Warriors vs. Sachin’s Blasters, live online, see the streaming link in the final paragraph of this article. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Central Time — 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific — on Wednesday, November 11, at 41,000-seat Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, home of baseball’s Houston Astros.
In India, where the Cricket All-Stars series will also be available to watch live online, the action gets underway at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 12.
Among the bowling highlights of the first Cricket All-Stars T20 was Warne dismissing Lara leg before wicket after the former West Indies giant tallied just one run. This was quite an accomplishment even for Warne, considering that Lara still holds the record for highest single score in one innings, with an incredible 501 while playing for English domestic side Warwickshire in a match against Durham on June 6, 1994.
McGrath, as well as former India Captain Sourav Ganguly, were left out in the first match last Saturday but are expected to take the field Wednesday night in Houston.
The Cricket All-Stars 2015 tour concludes with the third and possibly deciding T20 match on Saturday, November 11 at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
