Is Christina Milian doing more with Lil Wayne than just working on music together? As OK! Magazine recently reported, Christina, who is signed to the rapper’s Young Money Entertainment record label, addressed the rumor that she’s dating him during her appearance on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live .
Christina is featured on Lil Wayne’s new mixtape Sorry 4 The Wait 2 , a 17-track project that is a follow up to 2011’s Sorry 4 The Wait. She sings on the rapper’s version of Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love.” With explicit lyrics such as, “P***y like water, ain’t got no smell, ain’t got no flavor,” Weezy’s “Drunk in Love” is certainly raunchier than the original.
During Christina Milian’s WWHL appearance, a viewer called in and asked her if she’s really dating Lil Wayne. A grinning Christina remained coy about whether her relationship with Lil Wayne has crossed the line from professional to personal. While she admitted that she has feelings for him, she wouldn’t say if those feelings go beyond a good friendship.
“Lil Wayne and I are really close. We have a very close personal relationship and I really like him a lot. We have a great chemistry.”
Milian did, however, laughingly admit to host Andy Cohen and fellow guest Cynthia Bailey, from The Real Housewives of Atlanta , that she saw Weezy just a few hours prior to the show.
In July 2014, a month after Christina ended her engagement to Jas Prince, CEO of Young Empire Music Group, she was spotted holding hands with Lil Wayne at the ESPY Awards. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , she was then rumored to be carrying his baby . They later performed together at the American Music Awards in November.
If Christina and Lil Wayne really are dating, perhaps he’ll make an appearance or two on her new reality TV show, Christina Milian Turned Up , which made its debut on E! this past Sunday. Or perhaps viewers will see the two working on “Drunk in Love” for Sorry 4 The Wait 2. The rapper’s name already came up during the show’s premiere episode.
After Christina Milian’s last hit, 2009’s “Dip It Low,” she went on to compete on Dancing with the Stars and serve as a social media correspondent on The Voice . In an interview with the Daily News , Christina, who has a four-year-old daughter with ex-husband, singer and music producer The Dream, said that she hopes the show helps her make a return to the music charts.
“I did the show as a new way to come back out with my music again. It’s an outlet to show people the new, grown-up and more mature Christina.”
