Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been making headlines since its teaser trailer debut . Fans have even recreated the trailer using only Legos . There has been much controversy since the release of the trailer, with fans doubting that this Star Wars will live up to the legacy.

But what’s more is that the new trailer showed nothing, absolutely nothing, of our old, favorite Star Wars characters. Watchers were left to use their imaginations when thinking what Mark Hamill or Carrie Fisher would now look like as their iconic characters.

Last night, Saturday Night Live aired an extended trailer spoofing the new Star Wars film and it is hilarious. Now fans get to see what Han Solo has turned into, according to SNL , that is.

In fact, Han is a bit forgetful; he cannot remember who Luke Skywalker is. Then, in SNL fashion, he orders an early bird special at the cantina on Mos Eisley.

Luke, who was played by the host James Franco, has grown out a beard and uses a lightsaber-inspired walker to get from place to place. He still practices the Force by using it to sort his thyroid medication. Oh yes, he also lives in a cave.

Leia is perhaps the funnest with her graying trademark buns and poor eyesight. Inside Movies gives a fuller description of him — er, her.

“There’s also Bobby Moynihan as Princess Leia (seriously, though, ‘SNL’… There’s one woman from the original trilogy and a guy has to play this part?) struggling to figure out some common household technology.”

The good news is that she and Han are still together. Even Star Wars can deserves some happy endings.

And Lando Calrissian?

Well, he has put on quite a few pounds since the original Star Wars . He has also gotten himself a rather loud and bossy wife. Who knew Lando would settle down?

It cannot be Star Wars without Chewbacca, who is showing more than a little gray. Mediaite is none to nice to Han’s oldest friend.

“‘SNL’s’ reimagining of the ‘Force Awakens’ trailer finds […] Chewbacca with matted fur and a post-surgery cone collar.”

Poor Chewie stuck in a dog cone. It is kind of a sad way to see Chewbacca that way, though he seems just a ornery as ever.

Is this what you imagined the iconic Star Wars characters to be like in their old age?
