A Shirtless Justin Bieber Unveils First Platinum Blond Selfie: Fandom (Mostly) Approves

Justin Bieber has finally posted his first selfie and revealed his new platinum blond hair, ending hours of near-panic and rising hysteria among Beliebers’ ranks.

The 20-year-old superstar used the celebrity app Fahlo to unveil his bleach blond look, which thankfully hasn’t yet worked its way up to his still dark eyebrows.

Pics surfaced last night of the singer leaving a West Hollywood hair salon on Thursday, while hiding his face with a hat. But now we can finally get a proper peek at the radical transformation.

Without further ado, here is “#blondebieber,” as Justin wrote by his selfie.

The pic shows the — naturally — shirtless heartthrob’s platinum, blond mop , which seems to have sun-kissed blocks in the center.

As for the style? Justin is rocking a messy, I-just-woke-up-and-I-need-coffee look that he likely teased that way.

His expression? A mix of hot pout and vague distress.

This may be due to the Canadian suddenly realizing just how much hair conditioning he’s going to need for the foreseeable, as that bleaching looks like it’s already taking a serious toll on his locks.

But, all in all, it’s an edgy, different, attention-getting “do” that’s evidently a personal choice for Justin.

The star also tweeted, “Left something for you guys on my @OfficialFahlo #blondebieber)”

Shortly afterwards, the Biebs went on to post a Shots pic of him sitting in a car wearing a beanie next to his mom, Pattie Mallette.

He looks good, but that’s our opinion. We’re much more interested in what the fans had to say, mostly because they’re hilarious.

So, here’s a snapshot of Beliebers’ reactions to #blondebieber, as he shall henceforth be known — until the next, drastic change.

And so on.

The selfie’s in. #blondebieber is currently the second highest trending topic on Twitter and Beliebers seem to be mostly saying “Yes!”
