Season 2 of Scream Queens is almost here!
In less than two weeks, fans will see their favorite characters return in a brand new setting. Apart from the expected bitchiness and campy humor, here’s everything we know about the new season of Scream Queens .
For starters, Bustle is reporting that Season 2 will feature the Chanels leaving Kappa Kappa Tau and Wallace University for the hallways of a mysterious hospital .
Dean Cathy Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) is using the Chanels as medical students in the hospital that she apparently now runs. Although the new setting is exciting and a welcome change of pace, it also raises a lot of questions that haven’t been answered.
In the new trailer for Season 2, even Keke Palmer admits that she doesn’t “even know what to expect” this time around.

Taylor Lautner revealed that it would be “funnier, scarier, and pushing more boundaries” than its freshman year, but didn’t leak any details.
According to Christian Times , the new trailer starts with Zayday performing ordinary hospital duties as a medical student. However, she then screams at the sight of all three Chanels sporting their iconic matching attires.
After Zayday’s jump scare, the trailer shows the terrible bedside manner of the show’s newest addition, Dr. Brock Holt ( John Stamos ).
Dr. Holt is shown preparing to bandage up a female patient while texting on his phone. Apparently, Holt had some pressing business to handle before helping the injured woman.
“Sorry, I’m just finishing up a text,” he tells her. “And… send.”
At the same time, the Scream Queens trailer also featured the return of Hester, who was featured in a Hannibal Lecter-like mouth guard while being wheeled in by Lautner.
“Everyone freaks out when they get wheeled in here,” he tells Hester.
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that the new season will begin three years after the events in Season 1. During that time, Munsch left Wallace University and bought the hospital that will serve as the backdrop for Season 2.
Although the characters are no longer on campus, they still manage to attract a serial killer. Not to mention their ability to coordinate outfits.
Meanwhile, with the new season less than two weeks away, fans still have a lot of questions that have not been answered.
Is the hospital a mental ward or a general hospital?
How did the Chanels land jobs at a hospital after being admitted last season? And, more importantly, are they back in power?
Will Season 2 share similarities to Murphy’s other popular horror series, American Horror Story ?
In the trailer, Munsch tells a fellow doctor that the hospital cures the incurable. But what does she really mean?
How many of the characters from Season 1 will be recycled? Will Glen Powell make an appearance?

These are only some of the questions that still linger about the coming season. Clearly, Murphy and the rest of the cast have done an excellent job in keeping everyone in the dark.
For now, it looks like fans will have to wait a little longer before more spoilers are released. Thankfully, the premiere of the new season is only a few weeks away.
According to Fox 61 , Season 2 will feature Emma Roberts (Chanel Oberlin), Curtis (Munsch), Abigail Breslin (Chanel #5), Lea Michele (Hester Ulrich), Palmer (Zayday Williams), Powell (Chad Radwell), Niecy Nash (Denise Hemphill), and Billie Lourd (Chanel #3).
