Here's What Scott Disick is Feeling as Kourtney Kardashian Prepares to Welcome her First Child with Travis Barker

Scott Disick is known for his frequent appearances on the hit reality television series, The Kardashians. Disick’s introduction to the Kardashian family began back when he was still romantically with Kourtney Kardashian until 2015. The former couple even have three kids together whom they co-parent. Years after their split, Kourtney went on to date and marry Blink-182 drummer: Travis Barker and is expecting her first child with him.

Since Disick is now a regular on the reality show, being there while his ex is expecting a baby with someone else might be an entirely outlandish experience for him. But he has a rather emotionally moving stance on it. 

As per OK! Disick is certainly elated for his former lover as they prepare to become parents of a baby boy with mere days left to go. The insider claimed that after Kourtney’s recent emergency fetal surgery, he had a plethora of feelings to sort through. But mostly he’s “feeling a bit emotional as Kourtney gets closer to giving birth, but he is also supportive and is just glad she is feeling better considering her recent health scare,” said the source.

In the past, Disick has admitted to having held a hope that perhaps he and Kourtney could re-ignite their romantic flame. Alas, fate had other plans for both of them after all these years. In light of re-kindling their romance, a source shed light on Kourtney’s point of view on the matter. “Now that she’s starting a family with Travis, there isn’t room for Scott anymore,” revealed the source.

Furthermore, the source claimed that given the situation, the former couple is “communicating” when it concerns picking up and dropping off their children, and “That's all.” Since their split, the ex-flames are seemingly very open with all three of their kids about perhaps some aspects of their lives.

 For instance, their daughter Penelope had a savage piece of advice for her dad when asked who he should date next. In lieu of recent events involving Kourtney and Barker’s baby, the former flames have reportedly had a conversation with their children about the same. “Both Scott and Kourtney have had open and honest conversations with their kids about getting a new sibling. They look forward to having a new baby brother around,” noted the source. 

Whether or not Disick still has feelings for his ex-lover is still unconfirmed by him and his representatives. What is crystal clear, is how much he cares for Kourtney as a friend and wants to be there for her in this experience. “He has put his own personal feelings aside and just wants to ensure Kourtney is healthy,” said an insider close to Disick. In addition, Disick is also doing his best to be a great father to their three children by checking on them as often as possible. The source lastly notes that “He has been extra proactive and hands-on and helping out however he can.”
