Rihanna has been accused of cyber-bullying a teenage fan who attended her Hollywood themed prom dressed as the pop-star.
Alexis Carter arrived at her school’s event in Baltimore wearing a home-made replica of a dress that Rihanna had worn back in 2010. Carter had asked a family friend to design the dark green catsuit for her.
However, last week, Rihanna poked fun at an image of Carter in the garment, and decided to mock her attempts to replicate her look. Alongside a picture of Carter’s catsuit, she uploaded another of herself in the dress alongside a sad face emoticon. The picture has since received close to 10,000 retweets and has been favorited by over 11,000 users.

Rihanna wasn’t done abusing Carter though, and then a few minutes later she once again posted another photo of the teen to her 35million followers. This time she compared Carter to a the Wu-Tang Clan’s bat-like logo, before she then added the hashtag #PromBat.

Because of this, Carter has been roundly mocked, and the teenager has even faced a torrent of abuse online and at home because of the singer’s attack.
Carter has since opened up to Fox Baltimore about the pain that this incident has caused her. “I was very offended,” she explained. “Why throw shade on it when you had on the exact same thing. The poses was different but the outfit wasn’t.”
Carter’s opinion of Rihanna seems to have irreversibly changed too as she went on to add, “She don’t love her fans like she says she does.”
The 16-year-old admitted that she was overjoyed when she originally came up with the idea to dress as Rihanna at her prom. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, I love this outfit, I wanna go with this outfit let me go show my mom,’ and I was like, ‘Mom, mom, mom, I wanna wear this, it’s cool, I love it, oh my god,’” she recalled.
Once she arrived at the soiree, Carter explained that all of her classmates praised her attire too, stating, “Everybody was saying, ‘Oh my god, I love it, it looks nice your body looks good, it’s different.”
However, all of this good feeling has now gone out of the window and Alexis has since admitted that not only is she afraid to show her face on the streets but that her prom night has been ruined forever.
