RHONJ Season 7 is just around the corner, and Bravo is reportedly scrambling to get cast members in place. According to a new report, the Real Housewives of New Jersey will feature seven women, and likely include returning wives Melissa Gorga and Amber Marchese.
On March 26, Radar Online reported that Dina Manzo would likely not be a part of RHONJ Season 7, and twins Nicole Napolitano and Teresa Aprea may move on, as well. Added with Teresa Giudice’s absence, Bravo has been left with as many as four open spots.
As a result, producers have interviewed seven women to join the RHONJ Season 7 cast, including rocker Sebastian Bach’s ex-wife, Maria Bierk, and former NFL star Tiki Barber’s wife, Traci Lyn Johnson.
“Bravo has a list of seven names, but Tiki’s wife has already turned the offer down. It just wasn’t going to make sense for Tiki and [Traci] to do the show at this point. But Sebastian’s ex-wife Maria is extremely interested in joining the show.”
Gorga and Marchese, along with other potential members of the cast of the RHONJ Season 7, have reportedly given network executives names of their friends, who could possibly join the series.
“This is the chance for the show to go in a totally different direction. No more table flipping, or fighting with siblings.
There could be as many as four new ladies added to the cast.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Johnson was rumored to be in talks to join RHONJ Season 7 earlier this month. At the time, a source told E! News that Bravo was attempting to glam up the series ahead of RHONJ Season 7.
“When producers approached Traci, they told her they were revamping the show. Their goal is to include more well-known names and make New Jersey look more glamorous, like the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
E! News’ source went on to claim Hala Kerik, wife of former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik (who happens to be a close friend of former housewife Caroline Manzo), and Amber Sabathia, wife of Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, had also been courted. However, the Sabathia’s reportedly declined to join the RHONJ Season 7 cast.
Because Giudice will remain behind bars until early next year, she will be unable to film for the RHONJ Season 7, unless, of course, filming is pushed back several months.
Radar Online ‘s source claimed shooting on RHONJ Season 7 was expected to begin in late May, or early June.
