Teen music sensation Rebecca Black is all smiles on the cover of her new single, My Moment.

In the photo, the 13-year-old keeps things simple as she poses in a denim jacket with her hair tied into a plait against a black backdrop. Just days ago Black uploaded the snap to Twitter saying:

“new Twitter picture! it’s the cover art for my new single.”

Slated to hit the web sometime today , Black’s new song will tell the fairy-tale-like story of her rapid rise to stardom, which began when Friday , Rebecca’s first song, went viral on Youtube.

Most people are by now aware of the fact that Friday – a song that Black’s mother paid a reported $4,000 to have produced – achieved its legendary status for the wrong reasons – critics call it the “worst song ever” – but few are aware of its singer’s true aspirations and dedication to music.

“I’m not going to be just a one hit wonder. This is what I have wanted to do all my life and what I plan to do for my future. I’m determined and I don’t think people realize how hard I’ve worked for all of this to happen. I’m not going to let the haters stop me. I want to show everyone, I’m serious,” says Rebecca, who is currently working on a 5-track debut EP which is scheduled to released later this August.

According to Rebecca, My Moment will be first released on her official website and Youtube channel , and will then be availiable for purchase on iTunes and other online music stores on July 19th.
