Another season of Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York has come to an end, and all that is left to do is pop some popcorn and watch the three-part finale as those who are leaving (by termination or resignation) justify why they are jumping off the crazy bandwagon.
As was reported in the Inquisitr , Heather Thomson has indicated that she is moving towards the door and has nothing left to lose . Any ability that Thomson had to hold her tongue or reason with Ramona Singer, nicknamed “Crazy Eyes” by the other ladies, was gone when at the denim event, Thomson dismissed another Singer rant by saying “ Bye Felicia! ”

After that, Thomson let it be known that she was leaving the show to focus on her very successful shape wear company, Yummy. At this time, the only prospect for Season 9 is Lora Drasner, wife of Fred Drasner, former co-owner of the New York Daily News . Fred Drasner literally rented out Carnegie Hall so that his wife could show off what she learned in her year of piano lessons.
Also exiting stage right is Kristen Taekman, who, if rumors were true, was not asked to return to RHONY (possibly because she is getting a spinoff show with Brandi Glanville?). During this season, many of the cast members pretended that Taekman didn’t exist, or straight out called her stupid.

Perhaps People Magazine has the best take on how the wrap up of Season 8 will go. Returning cast member Bethenny Frankel has teased “It [the reunion] could get ugly.” In a preview of the reunion, Bethenny Frankel and Ramona Singer get into it, and Frankel asks Ramona if she should start telling tales of Singer’s private life, saying the she “knows where the bodies are buried.”
According to People, even Andy Cohen gets into the fray, asking a sleepy Ramona Singer after she had some wine if she had fallen asleep.

The tag lines, as RHONY Season 8 comes to a close , don’t verify whether the current cast is staying or going, but just lets viewers know that they are happy for the year-long experience, with lines like “I couldn’t be where I am today without where I’ve been.” Stay tuned for a three-part reunion that should be one for the books.
Who do you think will be back next year on Real Housewives of New York ?
