Will The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 7 feature both Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards as full-time housewives?
Prior to the currently airing sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Richards and her friend, Brandi Glanville, were removed from their full-time roles on the Bravo reality series, Richards due to an arrest and alcohol relapse, and Glanville due to her tension with her co-stars. While Bravo shows typically involve drama, what was going on with the two women appeared to be too much for producers to handle, and in turn, they hired two new wives, Erika “Jayne” Girardi and Kathryn Edwards.

Kim Richards had been featured in a full-time role for the first five seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , but in April of last year, after an alcohol relapse and a failed attempt at treatment, she and Bravo temporarily parted ways. From there, after being charged with trespassing, resisting an officer, battery on an officer and public intoxication, Richards traveled to rehab at least once more before being arrested a second time at a Target store in Van Nuys, California, where she was accused of stealing over $600 worth of merchandise.
Months later, as her co-stars filmed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills , Richards got her life back in order, and after signing on to appear on Lifetime’s The Mother/Daughter Experiment , she returned to Bravo as a guest star.
Once The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season Six wrapped filming, Richards continued tending to her relationship with Monty Brinson, who was battling cancer up until he tragic death earlier this month.
“Yolanda has been so impressed with Kim’s commitment to her sobriety,” an insider told Radar Online on February 26. “Watching Monty suffer for so very long was the hardest thing for Kim to deal with. She basically put her life on hold for the last two years to take care of Monty. But Kim has been absolutely committed to her sobriety and promised Monty that she would stay on the path to maintain it,” the source explained.
So now, “Yolanda wants Kim to rejoin the cast of [ The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills ] for next season,” the source revealed. “Kim has also been a great support for Yolanda during her divorce from David and her recovery from Lyme disease.”
Although it has yet to be announced whether or not Richards’ role on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills will be upgraded after her Season 6 return, fans will reportedly be seeing her during the upcoming reunion special, which will likely air in late March or early April.
“Expect tons of fireworks. There is no love lost between Kim and Lisa. Yolanda has proven to be the good friend that Kim needs,” the source added.
The source claimed Lisa Rinna is a common enemy for Foster and Richards due to her comments regarding each of them on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills . As fans saw both last year and this year, Rinna has been very vocal about her concerns and her sobriety, and when it came to Foster, a simple relay of information regarding the word “Munchausen” has turned into a major feud between the two women.
