He’s the POTUS with the mostest. President Obama found a unique way to reach his college audience last night by slow jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.
Obama said: “I’m President Barack Obama, and I, too, would like to Slow Jam the News.”
Obama stepped into the shows of Brian Williams last night to slow jam the news on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon. The presidential edition of the late night sketch focused on the rising cost of tuition. Obama said:
“What we said is simple: Now is not the time to make school more expensive for our young people.”
The President didn’t give too many jokes during the sketch but did manage to keep a straight face as Fallon called him the “Preezy of the United Steezy,” “the Barackness Monster,” and “the POTUS with the Mostest.”
After the sketch Obama joined Fallon for a late night presidential interview. The President talked about how he relaxes, what he thinks about Mitt Romney, the secret service sex scandal, and the legalization of marijuana.
Obama said:
“We’re not going to be legalizing ‘weed, or what’ anytime soon. But what we are trying to do is make sure that when it comes to drugs we are not just thinking about law enforcement, we’re also thinking about treating it as a public health problem.”
