Adult film star James Deen is currently at the center of a sexual allegation scandal. James Deen’s ex-girlfriend and adult film partner Stoya recently came forward to allege Deen of sexually assaulting her. In a series of tweets, Stoya, who is now a mainstream actress, accused James Deen of rape.
Since then, an additional two other adult film stars have come forward to accuse Deen of sexual misconduct. According to the Daily Beast , adult stars Tori Lux and Ashley Fires allege that they were both attacked by Deen.
Fires opened up to the Daily Beast about her claim. According to the star, she refuses to work or collaborate with James Deen because “he raped me.” Her assault allegedly happened at a porn studio while she was coming out of a shower. At the time, Fires said he “[came] up from behind me and push[ed] himself and his erection into my butt.” She said he then ignored her pleas to stop assaulting her.

When word spread around about the incident, Deen confronted Fires and told her to “stop telling people about it.”
Tori Lux said she was assaulted by Deen on the set of a major porn film. Deen asked her to smell his testicles, and when Lux refused she says he decided to grab her by the throat and pinned her down to a mattress and repeatedly struck her in the face. Then he “forced her face into his groin.” Lux would not name which porn set this happened on, but she did specify that it happened in 2011.
After James Deen’s ex Stoya came forward with the rape allegation, Deen took to Twitter to hit back at his old flame, while denying anything ever went down between the two that wasn’t consensual.
That thing where you log in to the internet for a second and see people idolizing the guy who raped you as a feminist. That thing sucks.

According to Lux, the reason why she didn’t report the rape incident is because she didn’t think she would be taken seriously, especially considering her profession.
“The reason for that is because people — including the police — tend to believe that sex workers have placed themselves in harm’s way, and therefore can’t be assaulted. Of course, this claim couldn’t be further from the truth, as being involved in sex work does not equate to being harmed.”
In another turn of events, due to these mounting allegations against James Deen, the porn star has been dropped from the company Kink. For some perspective, Kink is one of the most popular fetish companies in the market. In a statement to BuzzFeed Kink expressed why they decided to cut ties from James Deen.
“For the Kink.com community, as well as the larger BDSM community, consent and respect are sacrosanct. Effective immediately, Kink.com will cease all ties with James Deen, both as a performer and a producer.”
“Our performers deserve not only safe sets, but the ability to work without fear of assault. Rape or sexual assault, with or without a safe-word, off-set or on, should never be accepted as a hazard of adult production. While many of the allegations against Deen are new, the pattern is alarming. Over the coming weeks and months, we will review our Model Bill of Rights to strengthen rights of performers off-set, and work with the larger industry to help performers to have been assaulted to more easily come forward.”
Deen is also a chairperson for a group that represents adult film stars.
