A unique pregnancy announcement by a woman inside a Minnesota photo booth has gone viral. The video in which the woman, who has been identified as Jessica Devins, announces her pregnancy to her husband has now been viewed over 1.6 million times. And why not? It is absolutely adorable how she breaks the news to her husband. The reaction of the husband after the announcement will make your heart melt.
According to USA Today , the entire episode happened one evening at Minneapolis’ Pizzeria Lola. The couple who seem to have a liking for photo booths, decided to enter the booth where the wife had a real surprise in store for her husband.
All seems normal as the couple get ready to take the first shot. A little later, Devins raises a tiny baby hat into the frame with the words “Baby” written on it. The photograph is taken but the husband fails to notice it initially. However, once the clicked photograph appears on the photo booth screen, he turns to his wife with a look of disbelief on his face. He asks her repeatedly, “Is this for real!?” to which she nods a convincing “yes”!
The couple is then seen sharing the beautiful moment where they kiss and share the happiness.
What the husband did not know at that point was the fact that the entire episode was caught on camera by Devins and had planned to upload it to YouTube. After the video started to become popular, Devins herself appeared in the comments section and wrote how it all happened.
“Thanks everyone!! I’m so glad you like the video. We are just over the moon with joy and then to see how many people like our video is just heart warming!! We posted it hoping that it would inspire someone else someday. Please feel free to share with others! Thanks!!”
The video was originally uploaded to YouTube on December 24, 2014. While it did take some time for people to notice it, looks like now there is no stopping it!
Later, she also clarified how she had managed to capture the entire episode on camera without her husband getting suspicious.
“For those who have been asking, I actually started taping my iPhone to the front wall of photo booths to capture video of our silly faces a few months ago. That way he wouldn’t be suspicious when I was finally able to share the happy news.”
Did you see the video? What better way than this to forget what is arguably another depressing day filled with news about the terror attacks in France ?
