Authorities in Oklahoma are still looking for Peggy McGuire, who has now been missing for nearly a month with very little details on which to investigate. KTUL News reports that OSBI agents are “scouring” areas in McIntosh County in hopes of finding any evidence that could lead to this missing woman’s whereabouts.
The Oklahoma City Sun Times reports that the missing woman’s neighbors are concerned. It’s as if Peggy McGuire “vanished into thin air.” What’s more, people who know the missing woman say that she would never “just leave her family” like it appears that she’s done. It’s been almost a month since Peggy vanished, and nobody has heard from her or seen her since she was last seen after dropping off her son at school in mid-November. Over the course of the past month, very few details have been released in association with the search for McGuire. However, this week, it’s been revealed that she was last seen at the home she shares with her boyfriend after dropping off her child. Authorities are now focusing searches in the area surrounding where she was last seen.
Authorities in Oklahoma have not yet addressed whether or not they suspect foul play in Peggy McGuire’s disappearance. However, it’s been confirmed that search warrants are being issued in the search for her this week, indicating that detectives are working in at least one specific direction.

When Peggy disappeared in mid-November, her vehicle was found abandoned at a bar in Eufaula, where she resides. Witnesses reported seeing a man leaving the vehicle and walking away from it before it was discovered during the search for Peggy. Forensic evidence has been retrieved from the vehicle and sent for analysis, but no reports have indicated whether or not any of the evidence was relevant to the disappearance of the Oklahoma woman.
