Paris Jackson could be well enough to leave the hospital very soon, her family has confirmed.

Michael Jackson’s daughter was hospitalized following a suicide attempt on June 5. According to reports, the teenager was taken by ambulance after police received a call at around 1:30 am.

However, it would appear Paris Jackson is currently on the mend. The Business Standard reports she could be well enough to leave the hospital in the near future. She is currently being kept for observation.

“She’s doing wonderful right now. She’s getting better. She should be out soon,” Jackie Jackson explained to E! Online .

“We wish her a speedy recovery. We love her. After all that she’s gone through, losing a father — that’s hard on a youngster. So she’s staying strong,” Marlon Jackson said.

Since Paris Jackson is still hospitalized following her suicide attempt, she was unable to attend the premiere of Cirque du Soleil’s Michael Jackson ONE on Saturday. According to The Associated Press , the event was attended by such celebrities as Justin Bieber, Neil Patrick Harris, and Alfre Woodard.

Several members of the Jackson family, including Michael Jackson’s sons Prince and Blanket, were also in attendance. The show was directed by choreographer Jamie King.

After receiving mixed reviews for the Michael Jackson THE IMMORTAL WORLD TOUR , show organizers decided to inject more of the Cirque du Soleil experience into the recent production. King admitted that some people were a little confused during the first tribute to the King of Pop.

“I think the questions with (‘IMMORTAL’) was, ‘Was there enough Cirque? Was there enough Michael?’ There’s where the confusion (was),” the choreographer explained.

Cirque president Daniel Lamarre said ONE is different from IMMORTAL . He described the experience as “total immersion,” adding “people are going to dive into the universe of Michael Jackson.”
