Anthony Cumia, the more directly-named half of SiriusXM property Opie & Anthony, has posted an intensely profanity-laden tirade on Twitter following an alleged altercation in New York City’s Times Square — purportedly over a photograph.
According to Cumia’s rant (which contradicts itself in several aspects), the host was attempting to take a picture when a woman nearby objected to being included in the snapshot.
As of now, the woman involved has not given her side of the story, and it is unclear as to how the altercation that Cumia claims occurred began.
Yesterday, the SiriusXM host began to tweet about the alleged incident — we’re embedding some of the tweets below, but please be aware that the embeds contain language that is both profane and racist:
So, I’m taking pix in NYC & a black girl who was in frame punched me in the face. I called her a fucking “&$;;-:” cause that’s what she WAS!
— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
Then she punched me 5 more times. She’s lucky I was a white legal gun owner or she’d be dead. Then 5 blacks started giving me shit!
— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
I told them to back the fuck off, this wasn’t their show. The cunt then punched me again. Seems white boys don’t hit back. Lucky savage.

For some reason, Cumia felt that involving police would result in his being accused of sexual harassment, but he did not go into detail as to why police would be inclined to side with the woman he claims attacked him, and not him:
Wish a cop was around. Although she said she’d tell them I sexually harassed her. Lying cunt. I hope she gets shot in her ass fuck face. Ugh
— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
Then he says:
They aren’t people.
— Anthony Cumia (@AnthonyCumia) July 2, 2014
Im fucking livid. If I was an illegal savage I’d have shot her. The I are violence in her was so predictable. I hope she gets killed.

It’s worthwhile to point out that later on in his Twitter posting, Cumia posts an image of another woman — seemingly taken without her consent (in what might be known on the internet as a “creepshot”), and posted to his widely followed Twitter feed:
Now, this girl seemed nice enough. pic.twitter.com/foKe7PtV3B

Reading between the lines of the Opie & Anthony host’s rant — which is continued and becomes far more vulgar and racist — it seems just as likely that the woman involved caught Cumia taking a similar “creepshot” of her in Times Square and became confrontational.
