Model Manuela Arbelaez made quite the blunder on The Price is Right on Thursday when she accidentally revealed the answer to a contestant, who ended up walking away with a brand new set of wheels.
The contestant’s first guess for the right price of the Hyundai Sonata SE was incorrect, so Manuela removed the price tag. But the Columbian model didn’t stop there. Before the contestant could provide another guess, Arbelaez took away the second price tag, which happened to reveal the correct price for the car.
Quickly realizing her mistake, Arbelaez’s face showed utter horror as she attempted to replace the price tag.
“I won it!” The woman screamed in excitement as the flashy ‘WIN’ sign was noticed.
“Congratulations! Manuela just gave you a car!” Drew Carey told the contestant while cracking up with laughter. “Way to go, Manuela!”
Mortified, Arbelaez, who’s a six-year veteran of the show, placed her hand over her mouth and hid behind the game board.
Arbelaez later took to Twitter and tweeted a few jokes about the incident, as she confirmed that she had not gotten into trouble.
“For those of you asking: the producers and @DrewFromTV couldn’t have been more supportive and understanding. I’m not in trouble phew!” Manuela wrote.
