Nicki Minaj definitely has a story to tell with her new album.

At this point, fans probably don’t care what subject the rapper tackles on her next studio project. Minaj hasn’t released a record since 2012, so people are champing at the bit for something new. When Nicki’s legion of supporters finally pop The Pink Print into their stereos, they’re going to get a heavy dose of the truth.

Shortly before dropping her new single “Pills N Potions,” Nicki Minaj gave folks a hint of the stuff they’ll find on her new album. According to the rapper, her new project is officially stacked from front to back with true stories.

So Nicki Minaj’s The Pink Print is jam-packed with the truth, but what on earth does it sound like? In addition to telling Hot 97 that the album is more “stripped down” than her previous endeavors, the rapper gave Billboard a colorful albeit oddly cryptic description of the record’s sonic appeal.

“It sounds like betrayal. It sounds like running. It sounds like fainting. It sounds like love. It sounds like… *gasp!*” she told the publication .

That description is certainly amusing, but it doesn’t really give fans a clear picture of how The Pink Print will appeal to their ears. Instead of trying to figure out what Nicki Minaj is trying to say with that odd collection of words and phrases, have a listen to her new single “Pills N Potions.” A bit of truth is hanging out below.

Judging from the reactions the song is receiving on Twitter, Nicki Minaj’s truthful and “stripped down” sound is getting a very good reception. In fact, the song seems to have caught the attention of people from all over the world.

It seems that Nicki Minaj is ready to take the world by storm once again. Since she’s preparing to dominate the world with The Pink Print , the rapper had a few choice words for the folks at Forbes who believe Iggy Azalea is running hip-hop these days.

Nicki explained:

“Okay, I’m reloaded. Listen, all Forbes needs to worry about is my finances and when I’m going to be selling Myx Fusion for $250 million. That’s all they need to worry about. We rely on Hip Hop journalism and blogs for THAT kind of information. So we appreciate that, but no thank you.”
