With only two men remaining on The Bachelorette , Kaitlyn Bristowe has a tough decision ahead of her in the series finale. Although Nick Viall seems fairly confident that he will be the last one standing, will Bristowe choose Shawn Booth instead?
In an exclusive look at the final episode released by People , Nick appears confident as he picks out an engagement ring for Bristowe.
“Unfortunately, last season, there was a knock on the door, and Andi sent me home,” he explained. “I never thought I’d be more happy to see Neil Lane than Kaitlyn!”
Nick Viall was the runner up last season on The Bachelorette when Andi Dorfman decided to send him home. However, this time around is different, and Nick appears to be sure of himself that he will be Bristowe’s final pick.
While Nick is busy planning his future with Bristowe, host Chris Harrison believes the other remaining contestant, Shawn, has a great shot at winning the rose.
“From the minute he [Shawn] go out of the limo, [they] just had this thing together and they’ve had this amazing romance,” Harrison told Us Weekly .
Harrison added that he believes Bristowe has a strong desire to want to take care of Shawn.
“I think she wants to take care of Shawn. Even telling him about her thing with Nick, that was an odd attempt to take care of him, to be his caretaker,” he stated. “You can tell she deeply loves him.”
However, Harrison went on to state that Shawn’s one pitfall is that he doesn’t trust Bristowe , especially after he learned she had slept with Nick.
“Shawn’s a great guy, but he has trust issues. His worst nightmare was realized when Kaitlyn sat him down and said, ‘Oh, by the way, I went too far with Nick.’ So understandably, he has these issues but these two guys love Kaitlyn dearly.”
Meanwhile, whatever choice Bristowe ends up making, Harrison revealed to Reality TV World that he doesn’t think either of the final two men would be a good choice for the next bachelor.
“People hear that and all of a sudden there’s this headline like, “Oh my God, he thinks Nick and Shawn are bad people’ and we ‘don’t like them.’ That’s not the case,” Chris explained. “It doesn’t make them bad people. It doesn’t make them anything other than it takes a certain type of person, I think, to be The Bachelor .”
The finale for Season 11 of The Bachelorette is set to air July 27 on ABC.
