Nick Cannon Accuses Planned Parenthood Of Genocide [Video]

Nick Cannon likened Planned Parenthood activities to genocide against the black community in a recent interview on The Breakfast Club radio show.

“Nick Cannon isn’t afraid to speak his mind about Planned Parenthood… he says the org serves up organized genocide. Cannon was quick to criticize PP last week during an appearance on The Breakfast Club … claiming it had a hidden agenda,” TMZ summarized .

Mariah Carey’s ex-husband, 36, also insisted to the radio interviewers that deciding between casting a vote for Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump is like picking out which gun with which you want to be shot. “Its the same system; pick your oppressor… you can’t vote your way out of oppression,” the rapper and TV personality added. Instead, he underscored the importance of voting for local officials because neither Clinton nor Trump was speaking to the black community, in his opinion.

In the early moments of the 30-plus minute, post-election radio interview, in responding to a statement by an interviewer that Trump allegedly wants to reverse the landmark Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion throughout the U.S. rather than leaving it up to individual states to decide for themselves, Cannon offered this response.

“Hillary was sneaking and cheating. Think about all the stuff they did with Planned Parenthood and all that type of stuff. That type of stuff is to take our community and forget gentrification, it’s real genocide, and it’s been like that for years. This system is not built for us. This is not our land. I appreciate it. I love it, wouldn’t want to live nowhere else, but this wasn’t designed for our people.”

America’s Got Talent host Cannon has two kids (twins) with Carey and reportedly is expecting a baby with girlfriend Brittany Bell.

“Vice President-elect Mike Pence first introduced a bill to eliminate their funding as a member of Congress in 2007. The legislation failed, but he has continued to push against Planned Parenthood. He has declared that as part of the Donald Trump administration he will seek to overturn Roe vs Wade,… Since Trump’s election victory, a social media campaign has resulted in more than 50,000 donations made to Planned Parenthood in Pence’s name,” the Daily Mail noted .

In a subsequent encounter with a Splash News videographer at the LAX airport when asked about his Planned Parenthood remarks on the radio show, Nick Cannon used the term “modern-day eugenics, population control.”

Back in August, NFL star Benjamin Watson of the Baltimore Ravens, a pro-life Christian, claimed that Planned Parenthood, which supported Hillary Clinton, was set up by Margaret Sanger to “exterminate” black people.

A supporter of eugenics, Sanger founded the American Birth Control League in 1921, which subsequently evolved into Planned Parenthood, in 1942. Planned Parenthood provides reproductive health services, including abortions.

Commenting on Cannon’s remarks, the liberal website Slate insisted that “Eugenics was long ago debunked and exposed as racist hogwash, but in Sanger’s time, it was a popular, scientist-endorsed doctrine that counted many prominent progressive activists as believers. In other words, Sanger’s misguided beliefs were a disgraceful product of her time, not the main driver of her push for reproductive freedoms.”

According to Breitbart News , taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood “performs over 300,000 abortions per year in the United States — making it the country’s largest abortion provider. According to the 2010 census, some 79 percent of Planned Parenthood’s abortion facilities are located within walking distance of black or Latino neighborhoods.”

Cannon “has referenced abortion before. In 2005, he released a song titled Can I Live? where he revealed his mother almost terminated her pregnancy with him. At the time, however, he told USA Today he was neither pro-life nor pro-choice, and said he didn’t make the song to make a political statement. ‘I’m just thanking my mom for being strong,’ he said. ‘I’m just happy to be here,’” the New York Daily News explained .
