It’s official- Actress Nia Long and former NBA forward Ime Udoka are expecting their first child later this fall.
In a recent interview with People magazine the happy couple gushed,
“This is the most exciting time in our lives. Words can’t explain how thrilled we are by the new addition to our family. We feel truly blessed and appreciate all the well wishes and prayers.”
Long also shared the exciting news on Twitter with her 16,000+ followers:
“Hi babies. Yes the word is out. I’m gonna be a new mommy again. Life is sweet!”
Forty year old Long has an extensive back ground in the movie industry, having starred in a myriad of films including, Boiler Room (one of my personal favorites), Friday , and Are We There Yet. Nia has also appeared in episodes of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” “Judging Amy,” “Third Watch” and “Chase.”
Udoka, 33, has played on multiple NBA teams but was waived from the San Antonio Spurs on January 5, 2011.
