If the Denver Broncos can defeat the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, they will be just one game behind the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders in the AFC West. After the Chiefs defeated the Raiders 21-13 on Thursday, both teams are 10-3 as the rest of the league prepares for their games in Week 14.
As Von Miller and the Broncos travel to Tennessee for Sunday afternoon’s game, the linebacker can take comfort in knowing that his stats continue to improve. Already leading the entire NFL in sacks at the end of Week 13, a post-game review by the NFL gave Miller credit for a strip-sack on Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles. As noted by the Greeley Tribune , that brings the pass rusher’s sack total up to 13.5 for the year, with four games left to play in the regular season.
While the New England Patriots (10-2) currently have the best record in the AFC East and the entire conference, the Chiefs and Raiders (10-3) are still very much in the running for best the AFC’s No. 1 seed. The Patriots will play the Baltimore Ravens (7-5) on this week’s edition of Monday Night Football . The Ravens are currently tied for first in the AFC North with the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5), who play the Buffalo Bills (6-6) on Sunday. The Tennessee Titans (6-6), meanwhile, are in a three-way tie in the AFC South with the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts.
Week 14 Injury Updates
According to Friday evening’s injury report from CBS Sports , there are two players from Denver’s roster listed as out for Sunday’s game against Tennessee and two others listed as questionable. Neither center Casey Kreiter (calf injury), nor linebacker Brandon Marshall (hamstring injury) practiced on Friday, and will be out for Week 14. At the same time, quarterback Trevor Siemian (foot injury) and wide receiver Bennie Fowler (knee injury) are questionable.
The Tennessee Titans, by comparison, look much healthier according to the same injury list. The only player from Tennessee’s roster on the list is defensive tackle Jurrell Casey. He did not practice on Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game with a foot injury.
Predictions: Top Performers For Fantasy Football — Broncos at Titans
According to standard fantasy football scoring provided by the NFL, no one from either team is projected to be an overall Top 25 performer this week, with Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota (13.82 points) expected to be the biggest performer of the game. Not far behind is Denver quarterback Paxton Lynch (12.62 points), the highest projected player for the Broncos in Week 14. The next highest projected scorer in the game is Titans wide receiver Rishard Matthews (11.90 points), with teammate Tajae Sharpe (10.50 points) not far behind. The highest projected Broncos receiver is Demaryius Thomas (6.70 points). Neither team has a Top 15 running back, with DeMarco Murray (9.30 points) and Derrick Henry (8.90 points) — both of the Titans — the two highest-projected backs for the game.
At tight end, no one is projected higher than Tennessee’s Delanie Walker (11.60 points) in Week 14, while no one from Denver cracks the Top 25. Denver’s kicker Brandon McManus (11.00 points) is tied with two others as the highest projected at his position for the week, while Tennessee’s Ryan Succop (7.00 points) is tied at 15th. The Denver Broncos defense (6.00 points) and Tennessee Titans defense (6.00) are projected to tie for the second best defense in the league with 11 other teams.

Remaining Denver Broncos Schedule — 2016
If the Broncos can get past the Titans on Sunday, their road to the NFL Playoffs won’t be an easy one. The final three weeks of the NFL season for the Broncos have them playing the three teams that currently have the best records in the AFC. In Week 15, they host the New England Patriots, the best team in the conference. For Week 16, they travel to Kansas City to face the Chiefs, before finishing the season at home against the Oakland Raiders. Every team that the Broncos will play the rest of the season currently hold (or are tied for) first place in their division.
Remaining Tennessee Titans Schedule — 2016
If Tennessee can defeat Denver on Sunday, they’ll have a slightly easier schedule to finish out the year as they try to remain on top of the AFC South. The Titans also travel to Kansas City to play the Chiefs, and then follow that up in Week 16 by traveling to play the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-10) before returning home to host the Houston Texans (6-6) in their regular season finale.
